Just need your opinions on signals

Hi guys,

Went out on a date recently with someone that I haven't seen for 4 years. When I last knew her we weren't really friends but we did talk with each other because we were at college together. My question is how would you interpret the action of a girl linking her arm with yours whilst walking from one drinking place to another at about an hour into the date?? Also, how would you intepret the linking progressing onto walking with arms around each other...you know...my arm around her shoulders and her arm around my back (I'm tall).

I don't expect anything from this girl, so I didn't go out wiv the idea of pulling her. Don't get me wrong though, she is a real babe and also a nice person.

Nothing happened, we just went out and got pretty drunk and had a good laugh. But I'm just a bit bewildered by her actions I mean she did it again on the way home. It was strange...

You should have made a romantic move towards her and at least attempted to kiss her! You then could have answered your own question. Ask for a second date and don't react to her hand-holding as one friend to another - and make your move and do more than two buddies getting drunk together.

well it was a case of bumping into her in the street one day out of the blue. She gave me her number and mentioned that we ought to go out for a drink. So I called and asked if she wanted to hook up one nite and she agreed...thats all really.
