Here is the quote from the article that I DIDNT WRITE.

Two-thirds of all divorces are initiated by women. One recent study found that many of the reasons for this have to do with the nature of our divorce laws. For example, in most states women have a good chance of receiving custody of their children. Because women more strongly want to keep their children with them, in states where there is a presumption of shared custody with the husband the percentage of women who initiate divorces is much lower. Also, the higher rate of women initiators is probably due to the fact that men are more likely to be "badly behaved." Husbands, for example, are more likely than wives to have problems with drinking, drug abuse, and infidelity.
One Million False Allegations of Domestic Violence Each Year, Report Finds

WASHINGTON, Jan. 29 / U.S. Newswire / – Over one million false allegations of domestic violence are filed each year. These allegations often result in family break-up and the removal of children from their parents, according to a report released today.

"A Culture of False Allegations: How VAWA Harms Families and Children" documents how the Violence Against Women Act defines "domestic violence" in broad terms. That has given rise to one million claims of domestic "violence" each year in which physical violence is not even alleged.

Elaine Epstein, former president of the Massachusetts Bar Association, is on the record as saying, "Everyone knows that restraining orders and orders to vacate are granted to virtually all who apply ... In many cases, allegations of abuse are now used for tactical advantage."

An example of the problem is Dan Iagatta of Foxboro, Mass. A quadriplegic dad who is confined to a wheelchair, he was accused of domestic abuse by his wife and recently ordered to vacate his home.

"False allegations of domestic violence have become so widespread that lawyers now call them a legal 'slam-dunk,'" notes RADAR spokesman Ron Grignol. "Some are saying we should pass a David Letterman Protection Act to curb the problem."

TV talk-show host Letterman was formally charged with domestic violence after a New Mexico woman accused him of harassing her with mental telepathic messages.

Restraining orders are now seen as part of the "gamesmanship of divorce," according to a 2005 article in the Illinois Bar Journal. The RADAR report documents how these false allegations violate civil rights and harm families. As a result, children often lose daily contact with one of their parents.

The report was issued by RADAR (Respecting Accuracy in Domestic Abuse Reporting), a research and education organization. The report can be viewed at http://www.mediaradar.org/docs/VAWA-A-Culture-of-False-Allegations.pdf.

The document reveals that children who grow up in a single-parent home are greater risk of child abuse, academic failure, and a broad range of social pathologies. The report concludes that VAWA needs to be reformed to become family-friendly.

R.A.D.A.R. – Respecting Accuracy in Domestic Abuse Reporting – is a non-profit, non-partisan organization of men and women working to assure that the problem of domestic violence is treated in a balanced and effective manner. http://www.mediaradar.org.

I guess all men are potential, drug addicts, gamblers and drunks, oh and at the worst abusers, right?

Another great reason to:

Not get married.

You wont be labled a drunk, gambling drug addict who beats his wife up, so she can take your kids.

Hard hitting, this is reality, if you dont like, dont blame me.

This stuff goes on all the TIME< because its a womens ACE card in the HOLE, to fuc* you over, hence your post IQQI only confirms what i state all along and what a crock of shi* that last comment was:

"is probably due to the fact"

Due to the FACT, then post the mother fuc*ing FACT, not a biased opinion that has NO evidence to back it up, other then appearing to conform to a political correct agenda.

Incidently i will post another statement in line with the cra* you posted:

"is probably due to the fact" that most women sit at home most evenings with a bottle of wine to keep them company and at the weekend then go to bingo and spend 30/50 quid on trying to win with blue rinse old ladies who flock to the place of 'gambling' like ducks to water, not to mention the many amusment arcades full of slot machine hags trying to gamble there savings away.

So "its probably due to the fact" the husband has got sick and tired of being shacked up with a feminised fat slob who gambles all her money away, whilst drinking a bottle of wine per night, but she manages to get the kids in divorce since the biased system is quick to label men, just like 'you'.

Hence back to the OP, i would shake his hand and give him a cigar for freedom from a typical western fat slob of a wife :D

Jonwon:

Great post.

You are right. The OP's freedom from a fat wife is worth any price.

You only live once. Are you willing to throw it away on a woman?

I was not.

whats important is that Daddy(me) will be there the 8 days I get him and give him all I can...and his mother the same.

when he grows up he wont be saying I dont have a dad he will know he can come see his pops or call him anytime.

what he doenst have to live with is..me losing it and yelling for 10 min because I was fycking miserable with my X-fiance.

staying together isnt nearly as important as people think.
