Just Found this Little Diddy

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

The article did a great job of painting the big picture of what has led us to where we are and how we got there. For being a late 20's kid that sits around at mom's house playing video games Aestu sure has a good understanding of what is going on and articulates himself well but......all he offers is excuses of why he can't make things happen. He's the typical entitled child that expects things to be made easy for him. He only wants to apply himself as long as he doesn't have to try real hard. He refuses to hold himself accountable. He wants his path to success served to him on a silver platter. He doesn't want to give up the comfort and amenities of mom's home. Life is easy there.......in fact its too easy.

And although I am no baby boomer, he's right....I don't get it. When you make life too easy for somebody you create this mess we have today. You create selfish people who are lacking in pride, respect, motivation, and self esteem.

Every day I am grateful for the skills my parents taught me. I am thankful they didn't hand me everything. I am thankful they told me no and let me cry when I tried to get my way and shouldn't. I am thankful they didn't coddle me. I am thankful they didn't hand me a trophy when I clearly wasn't the winner instead they told me to work harder and get better. I'm thankful my parents raised me to think for myself and make $hitt happen.

Its the beginning of the end for the good ole U.S. of A. This country will go bankrupt trying to finance these slack asses.

Dear Howie Eastern,
I agree with much of what you say...However,I take a more philosophical view....The Post War Era was a World in which the States for one reason or another had managed to accumulate six sevenths of the Worlds Wealth, they even had more Scots Whisky in bond than the Scots!...

Great!you were the Arsenal of Democracy,Thank The Good Lord!.....This had been the first truly World Wide War,most of Eur-Asia had been devastated, there was a limitless demand for your Food and Manufactured Articles,to exaggerate events even more, the mass production of War Materiel had given birth to inventions and assembly line methods that could provide white goods unthought of ten years earlier.

We then had a succession of remarkable improvements keeping our Factories busy...Jet Planes,transistors,computors...It goes on and on,but the Merry go Round has stopped, there are not many developments in the Pipeline....To complicate matters further, what once only a few Western Nations could do,now globalisation enables anyone and everyone to do...But reflect,on the broader time scale,we are really returning to normalcy,we are travelling sideways, and when central Bank Interventions are removed will be going Down, its Cyclic!

Reflect also that China for most of Civilized time had far and away the greatest Economy in the World, and produced most of the great Inventions that enabled us to surge forward in the Fifteenth Century!
