"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Now tonight she is taking pics and caressing another guys face and his facial hair.
Yeah... that's a bit of a problem. If I were in your shoes, I would lay it out very clearly why you did it and then cut all contact completely. Or just cut contact completely. You don't owe her anything, being honest and upfront is a bonus when dealing with what has now become a stranger again.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Thanks for the responses. I've offered to work on things, but to no avail. I forgot to mention she also wanted to invite a former guy friend that wanted to bang her over to my place. She's just too immature.

Sorry to hear about it. It's really a slippery slope when it comes to these things.

I think we've all been in that situation where something happens and you already know before the outcome that things won't be the same in a relationship.

Not to jack the thread but this topic raises a broader question; what do you when faced with a similar situation? How do you win?

The way I see it, when you tell a girl not to do something, there are but a few options, none of which seem pleasing:

-she listens to you, but resents you for being controlling. she may take this out on you in another way

-she doesn't listen to you, and does what you told her not to do (in which case you either
leave her, or give in to her power move and revert back to afc status)

I know when stuff like this comes up, you should be ready and willing to walk, but if you have a history, especially if you're in an exclusive relationship, it's not that cut and dry.
I have a perfect answer for this. Be totally fine, and cool. Then do the same thing back to her (making sure it doesnt seem like your doing it to get back at her but just acting like you thought it was fine) and see if she minds - she will.....then she will stop herself - you dont need to SAY ANYTHING - JUST DO

You also need to fix anything that you might be doing thats creating hte problem in the first place -maybe your becoming complacent - not treating her well - this is her way of saying "i want you to treat me better like a little princess sometimes"

Does everyone agree with me here?
