"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Do you ever try and point out somthing that is wrong? I was watching sweet 16 on mtv where rich kids plan there $300,000 parties. One guy was looking at dancers for his party, his dad turns to him and says wow what do you think the body fat % is on her and he says "haha like 1%"

So suddenly my brian switches on and thinks no it way higher you would die if it was 1%

I am sure you have had cases where you are talking to people, some one says somthing wrong, and you are very quick to point out the mistake.

Well guess what, dont do it over trivial matters, do not bother correcting him. I dont care what you thinmk your reason is for doing it, the real reason is because you want to show off you where right.

Well let me tell you somthing. If some one else corrected him, would you care, would you make a big deal that the other person is right? of course not!

Well why would some one else care if oyu are right? they answer is they wouldnt and they dont! You know you are right and you care, so keep it to yourself because all you are doing by correcting some one is making them feel stupid and they will resent you for it each time you do it.

Remember no one else cares that you are right and the person you correct just resents it so you are gaining nothing and lossing somthing, so you should just not do it.

If you dont belive me think how anoyed you get even when a teacher at school corrects you. When you are right you are happy and you associate that feeling with the people that bring it out, and if your are unhappy the opposite happens. Why else do you think your favourite subjects at school are genraly the ones you are best at!

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Yes, some people sound pompous and arrogant when correcting a person, but there are times when you NEED to be corrected in order to learn from mistakes.

As long as the person correcting you doesn't do so in a condescending tone, you're unlikely to resent them for trying to help. My old chemistry teacher has corrected me many times, but in a friendly way. Without those corrections I would be making frequent errors in my work.

The ability to admit to mistakes should be valued. Dale Carnegie wrote, "If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically."

But yeah, I agree, correcting should never be about boosting your ego. Instead, you should 'help' or 'improve'.

well simon, like i said dont correct people on trivial matters. If it is important to correct them for example its school work etc then correct them.

I was watching the fabulous life of the rich and famous, also on mtv and john trivolters daughter was so used to going only on private jets, when she went on a normal passenger jet she asked her mum who are all these people, she asumed every one travles around in private jets.

I would often go and tell people omg omg look what she said, i would say this exact story of what i saw on tv, to people i know and about how stupid it is that they spend for example £1,600 on a bag to hold dirty dippers when most girls would dream of that bag that is being used for that. Or the celling with fiber otpics lights that cost £40,000 to put up.

I have realised i was jelous that i could not afford a small car whilst they spend £2600 on the babies pram and i could not afford all these things and these people treat £1000 how i might treat 1 pence.

Recently i realised i am just jelous, im getting better, but i think we just get jelous. Jelousy is bad for everyone, you should watch these programs especialy sweet 16 because you notice that although these people are temporerly happy duirng there £500,000 party they are often more misroable then we ever are.

Make sure you always hide jelousy rather then take picks at the people you are jelosu of, because not only well it make oyu look bad and resented, but if oyu try and live with it and hold it in, then you should be abale to over come it.

Jelousy is another reason we critisize people and it is worse the correcting people, you should never critisize.
