"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So here’s the deal, when initiating the move (e.g. the kiss) I’ve only done it twice in my life and succeeded. I was kinda buzzing the first time and the second time I used a tip from Anonymous from “the truth about women” article and I was sober but I’m not sure how I did it, looking back I think it was because it was the end of the semester and I felt like I wouldn’t see her again if I got rejected. When it comes to making the move, I’ve read a lot of Just Do It comments and I’m not sure how you “just do it.” From reading material from the DJ Bible I read a lot about how the testosterone in our system helps exude the “strength” or mind set to just do it and not think about it, so I’ve been trying to go to the gym and bulk up so that maybe I can build up enough testosterone so that I don’t always become so logical in moments of action, that is, so I don’t start thinking about the repercussions or rejection or whatever when it’s my time to act. I’ve only been working out religiously for a month and I don’t think I want to keep using my lack of bulk as an excuse.

I was thinking of what’s said a lot about females, they’re emotional so when we create the right feeling for them they’ll go with it (single, relationship, married, etc.) Is there a way that I can get in on that so I when I create the “feeling” I’ll just go with it as well and not think of what I’m doing or what I’m about to try to do (e.g. kiss her), you know, have that I don’t give a F**** attitude, and not be so logical about it. Does anyone have any advice or can you reference me to any articles that might help, I’d greatly appreciate it. Also please let me know if my question is too vague.

I’ll just give a lil example: I was in class one day with an HB8 (she’s married) and I’m a big flirt so I always flirt with her, use kino and what not; we were alone so I thought why not just go for a kiss who cares right, but my brain gets all logical on me (she’s married, we probably won’t be friends if I try and get rejected, excuses excuses) so I don’t do it. But I can’t kick myself for it b/c that’s not the first time it’s happened be it an HB5-HB9 (single or in a relationship), it’s just getting old.

Peace

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

lol.

In my last couple years of college I used to love watching all the AFCs finally work up the nerve to ask a girl out that they've been hoping/wishing/lusting over in the last few days of the semester. They had the same mentality you did. Typically, they were already LJBF'd because of the 3-month "friendly" and "non-threatening" AFC behavior, but they just HAD to make a move as time was running out.

After getting out of my AFC stage, I always made sure to hit on girls EARLY. The earlier in college the better. Then, of course, in my Senior year I got into an LTR. Wish I would have stayed single! But, I learned a lot from that LTR, so I don't regret it.

thanks for your input guys, I guess there really isn't a cure-all way to get myself to make the first move, seems like you DJs have your ways of handling it, I'll take your advice into consideration.
