"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Just do it.

You see some sexy woman and in your mind you want to go up and talk to her.
You wait and wait and wait and what happens?
You start building up all these reasons for you not to go up to her and talk to her, you start to think about everything that will go wrong, you clam up, your mind and body becomes tense, you fail. Hows that feel? SHOULD FEEL LIKE **** YOU, SHOUD FEEL LIKE **** AND A PVSSY.

Just do it man!

From what I noticed you have about 3-5 seconds to go up to a girl to talk to her from when you first see her. Reason being because after that allotted time thats when negativity starts to pop into your mind and then you will end up not doing it. Unfortunately without forcing your mind to think positive you will always cling to what is negative.

Just fvcking do it.

The worst part about doing this is when you keep doing this exact thing, ie- seeing a girl, building negative thoughts, not talking to her, it builds a bad habit and then your mind will recognize the situation (OH! its the same old lets look at this girl and not speak to her type deal! I know what to do, what I always do NOTHING!) . Want to know how to fix that issue/habit?
Clear your mind and relax. Do this right as you see a girl you want to approach. Clearing your mind gets rid of all those bad thoughts and stupid negativity. Then your body will just follow your mind and walk up to her, you'll feel so much more relaxed without all that negativity in your mind. And obviously end up meeting a new friend, which is a good thing!

Recap
1. Just do it.
2. Relax and clear that mind!
3. Have fun as always !

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Good post. It's a fast world we live in nowadays, and your window of opportunity is small and closes fast.

Basically, many people will just psyche themselves out before even approaching.

No hesitation.

I repeat, NO HESITATION. If you hesitate, it is 90% certain you will not end up approaching.

Instead of going over every possible scenario or outcome that might happen if you approach her, just FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF by actually approaching her. The scenarios that run through your mind usually will never happen exactly how you think they will in real life.

exactly, and sometimes in your mind the outcome is worse than in real life (ie- her yelling at you, laughing, etc. ) But in reality that wouldn't really happen, so why think about it. Actually now that you mention hesitation I went cliff jumping yesterday and i was so hesitant to jump this 30ft cliff because in my mind i thought i would hit something or drown (lol) but i just went for it and boom, it was the best rush of adrenaline i have ever gotten. Point being- no hesitation.

Now that you mention it, approaching a woman IS kind of like jumping off a cliff.

You're jumping into the unknown and you don't know what is in store for you, but you take a leap of faith anyway because it's the thrill of jumping (approaching) that entices you. The biggest risk you make is by taking no risks.

Yeah, live in the moment, but don't you think it would help to have some pre-rehearsed opening scripts, so that you don't have to think on the spot WHILE your nervous, you can just reel off a memorized gambit which you know off by heart?

That would imply that the conversation he is in takes a route that would make one of his well-rehearsed script lines work. Some of the times it happens. But most of the time you can't predict what the girl might or might not say.

I am not discouraging knowing several scripted lines. It definitely does help AND helps you practice getting a feel of the conversation. However, I don't think relying on just scripted lines will benefit someone long-term.

And I would think that knowing a line by heart would kind of mean it is instinctual already, which would mean that he should have a good feel of when to say it in a conversation.
