i have technically owned a house for 2 years, although I'm renting one half way across the country righ tnow, but the other house is still in my name back where I am from.

words cant describe how much it helps. seriously. there is no going back

I would think it would help, because they're thinking if you sign the dotted line, and it doesn't work out, then they have a new crib!

LOL funny you mention that. I techically own 3 houses but they are under my other family members name in case of something like this. The new one I bought I cosign with my mom :woo:

Remember you never really own the house until all debts are paid off. And in America, they don't want that to happen. I think you can even have a bad credit score for paying off all your debts.
