doesn't mean every guy is going to be attracted to her or find her attractive.

Yes, there are objective standards to facial beauty and a pretty face is a pretty face and an ugly face is an ugly face.

However, attraction usually comes down to a girl having a "certain look" to her. Usually the girl does have good facial balance, but that is only part of the equation.

This "look" that we go for is different in each and everyone of us and is molded by are childhood, adolesence and different interactions we have had with multiple women over the years.

You ever meet a girl who has good facial balance, but you just were not attracted to her? Of course you have...maybe she unconciously reminds you of your female cousin or of some girl you couldn't stand back in middle school.

E.G. Heather Locklear and Mischa Barton have good facial balance, but I don't find them attractive for some unconscious reason.

WHAT IS MY POINT?

My point is.........

We must drill it in our heads (as hard as it is) that not every guy is going to see what we see. We see a girl we are really attracted to and we immediately think every other guy feels the same way you do about this particular girl.

What happens? You start to feel insecure and un-worthy and think you are in compeition with every other guy. We start to think, this girl is so amazing and pretty, she can have every guy she wants.

Let's refer back to my "which girl do you find most attractive poll".

For me, it is petite brunettes. However, only 21% of the men on this forum picked petite brunettes.

For those who picked petite brunettes, remember 80% of all the other guys out there are out looking for their tall blonde or average height brunette.

When you see your pretty, petite brunette, you must remind yourself that she is only taking the breath away of only some men, NOT ALL MEN!!

Yes, there are some guys WHO WILL see the same thing you do, but only SOME.

When you realize this, you will feel more confident in the girl you fancy.

I agree with this, There have been times i have said a girl was cute and my friends or coworkers would disagree with me and vice versa.

I hate that whole facial symmetry thing, its stupid...somebody can have a symmetrical face but have really ugly features, are they still good looking?

This is true, but there are certain ones that everyone finds attractive. Like this one girl I really liked. I brought it up in a group and pretty much everyone agreed she was very very hot.

But yeah, I think it's true that a lot of times, there will be a trait you think is really really attractive, but there will be other guys that don't notice it or are turned off by something else, so it's all very subjective....

Well, yeah, there are certain women that have such perfect skin, balance and symmetry that MOST guys will think they are very hot. E.g. Monical Belluci, Raquel Welch.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder is true, but it does not apply to women who objectively have below average facial aesthetics or a woman who has the face of a Runway model.

Unless she is strikingly good-looking, not every man will like your girl.

If she's a 7 then she's your 7 and a lot of other guys 4, but if she's a 9 then most guys are already bending her over in their minds. No getting away from it.

Yeah, either end of the bell curve is represented by the extremes which most people are in concurrence with.

If she's a 2, most guys are puking in their minds...no getting away from that either

Seriously this board can be so damn focking nerdy sometimes it's not even funny. Facial symmetry? What the fock do you guys do? measure the girls face when you meet her?

This is the lamest crap ever. It all boils down to this "either you want to fock her or you don't" thats all that matters and who gives a crap what anyone else thinks.
