Got this *9 chick who's training to be an actress (I know, I'm not taking it too seriously just yet, but I do quite like her).

She tells me a couple of times how she's met guys and 'networking' for purposes of work (I now that's at least not what the guys are thinking any way) - one time a 'Director' and another time a 'music producer'.

So she texts me and drop calls me at like 2300 on Saturday night asking if she can come over to mine. I was already asleep though coz I been exercising all last week.

Sunday morning on the text:

TMK: Damn Soph.... sometimes I just need more than half hour's notice!
Soph: Yeah I know. I just felt bad and a bit drunk coz I met that producer guy and he wanted me in a film, but also wanted more. I just went home instead and told him I was taken and I don't do that.

TMK (two hours later): So, next time we meet, we'll talk sensibly about how you find work you want. You gotta be clever off stage as well as on it.
Soph: (heart)


****-testing? Playing about? If she was in to seeing other guys would she tell me? Or tell them she was taken?

Pfft. I don't really care. She is niaive but not that niaive.

I guess, if nothing else, it serves as a perfect example of the game women play themselves.

Sorry my friend but if you want an honest opinion I see friendzone or emotional tampon all over this interaction. Seemed like she wanted to come over and vent, not bang.

If she's a 9 are you on par with that in the looks department?

Do you have equivolent high value in other areas?

I wouldn't be so conceited as to grade myself, but for arguments sake, let's say she's not out of my league.

I have banged her a few times and had she come over that night, I woulda given it to her again (i.e. when she talked about being 'taken', she meant by me, which is another topic entirely).

But you guys are right about the the therapist/tampon thing. Massive mistake that has got me exactly nowhere with other birds.

May be I'll just take the piss out of her faux 'naivety' instead.

She's banging you but she is not your girlfriend, meaning; she's a type of girl who bangs some guys that she's not in a relationship with - makes ****buddies. She might as well be banging other guys while she's banging you too. Do you really want to be in a relationship with somebody like this? I don't see a good relationship material here, unless you are very open minded.

the thing I heard about this actress and model world is really pretty annoying for anyone wanting anything serious with people who work there. its a meat market and people will always need to taste that new meat even when he know he have some at his home

I have been in the Entertainment industry since I was 13. I also live in Los Angeles, land of people who want to become famous.

I have a lot of friends out here who are Actors, Actresses, Singers, Producers etc. They all fvk around and hook up with other Entertainment type people to work there way up the ladder. I fortunitetly have had family in the business for years so I had an easy shoe in.

A girl like that especially since she is not your girlfriend will do whatever she needs to do to land a role. Bang a producer, blow a casting director, whatever she needs to do. This girl should be taken as a fun bang and nothing more. She is not LTR material.

I made a rule with myself that I would never pursue a broad working in entertainment for a LTR. I have slept with many, but LTR's with them just won't work.

Look at all the celebrity dating gossip, its a fvking mess. They are ALL OVER THE PLACE with the exception of the rare few the entertainment industry is the most back stabbing, scummiest industry to get into. (unless you have a connection like family)

Sleep with her, have fun with her, enjoy her company, but don't wife her up. Find someone that does not want to be famous and works a good 9-5.

You've pretty much confirmed everything I have been thinking anyway, especially Spiegel's insight to the entertainment industry.

It would b so easy to think.... 'Oh but this chick isn't like the rest.' I'm not that naïve anymore though. To an extent, I trust her; she seems to have a greater depth than most women I've met. I just don't trust that she's strong enough to stand up to manipulation.

F*ck it. I'll do as Spieg says, enjoy her, but not make a wife of her.
