"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

If you ask a girl out, how do you discuss that you're paying 50/50, what if she assumes you're paying and doesnt bring money?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Why wouldn’t she bring money?

Monday night I went for coffee with this girl (she’s rich). When the bill came the waitress placed it down in front of me. I looked at the waitress in the eye and with my hand pushed the bill over to my girl. The waitress gave an awkward smile and walked off.

Anyway best course of action is to tell her straight out. "you pay for what you buy, you don’t get free meals when you come out with me".

Is there a person that goes out in this world without money? There is no need to ask them in advance if thats what you're thinking.

You will come off as cheap if you split the bill 50/50

Pay for something and let her pay for something else, eg movie tickets / popcorn n drink

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

heres how it kinda goes these days:

unless she mentions that she is paying her own way, then its assumed that you are , proper ettiquette.

you may have a good surprize when you go to pay the bill and she says no , i pay my own way .

always have enough money on you in case she assumes you are paying. you dont want embarrassment on a date.

it is rude to ask her to pay unless you say " wanna go dutch"
because going dutch means she pays.

myself, i always liked to pay my own way on new dates. and during ltr's i would pay for the whole date every other date.

things are different now that i am about to get married. its kinda like i have my finances and he has his, and we are starting to figure out how to combine them together. this is much tougher than it seems.
