"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

When you make assumptions, when you trust your gut, when you act first and think later... Are you always right?

If a person asks for help...

What are the first things that come to mind?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Well its hard to say, because all of those things you mentioned do not really relate. Making assumptions is a bad idea, they are often wrong. Assumptions usually are not knowledge-based.

When you say act first and htink later, what are you referring to? There are many situations where this would be a good thing, and many where it would be bad.

However, trusting your gut, in my opinion, is usually a good thing. Any time I have gone AGAINST what my gut was telling me, I usually faultered. I would realize after the fact that I should have trusted my gut, but for some reason I did not want to. Maybe it was not telling me what I wanted to hear, you know?

So it really depends, there is no clear cut answer to this.

Maybe me and you are different... that is on my mind before they ask for advice. After they ask for advice something else happens though.

How does the WAY a person ask for advice affect you?

Are you clairevoyant?
Nevermind.

A person wouldn't have a problem if they new what the cause of the problem was, right? Many times, it's a "forest through the trees" situation. So HOW a person asks for advice is many times irrelevant. Sometimes the cause of their problem is something completely non-related to what they are asking for help with.

Example:

Q: "When I went for the kiss close, she turned away. What should I do?"
A: "Your breath stinks."

I gotta give you credit, stackthestyles. I'm shocked that you aren't a cap-spammer.

HEY GUYS! WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT PONY TAILS? DO YOU LIKE THEM HELD UP WITH A FANCY SCRUNCHIE? OR A RUBBER BAND? IMMA PUT UP A POLL ON THIS. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

BUMP. COME ON GUYS, I'M REALLY INTERESTED IN KNOWING WHAT YOU THINK!

BUMP. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

You can't always be right when you trust your gut. Even if you're a Tibetan monk who's perfectly in tune with himself, you'll still make mistakes. Granted, those mistakes will teach you and bring new understanding, so who's to say that they really are mistakes? I honestly believe that learning to listen to your inner voice is one of the most crucial skills one must acquire. The so-called sixth sense is powerful beyond what we're capable of understanding.

I just assume everybody is looking for something better, so I'm not clairvoyant. I assume they are looking for something better, but I only give advice if they ask.

Your correct on all counts, especially the CAP SPAMMER part.

Reason I'm asking is on the other end of the spectrum. When people give advice, do they always ASSUME it is a "forest through the trees" type of deal?

Nearly all of my posts I make are questions. 1 in 50 actually have an answer that isn't immediately assumptuous. I've been asking how to ask questions properly since I got to the site, I want to know how to ask for advice, without people "jumping the gun" and giving me an answer that I've already heard and didn't work or I am already practicing.

So HOW a person asks for advice, is what I am looking for.

Sixth sense?

Tibetan monks are cool. I love the questions they bring up and make you ask yourself... Maybe I should try and follow their footsteps, since the questions that I ask now are worth next to nothing when it comes to living a REAL life(whatever a REAL life may be)

There are some people who let their inner voice talk FOR them correct? I try to listen to mine, and it tells me that I am not perfect, I damned well believe it. It tells me I am not happy, I hear it... I won't let it slip though, or people will accuse me of something completely irrelevant to the question I am asking... Me saying the advice is wrong may be something which may be gibberish coming from my inner self anyhow.

Does it help me at all, when somebody elses advice is wrong? What if I follow their advice, am I wasting my time?

Stack, stop posting so many goddamn threads. Your ratio of time spent in the field to time spent on sosuave should always favor time in the field. Pick some of those newbie missions you asked for and do them. Posting here gets you nothing.

Do I have to put it into my signature?

"I sarge, I get laid, so just answer the god damned question"
"Who, when, where, why and how I fvck is none of your god damned business"

Which of those two do you prefer?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Exactly, I started this thread becuase I am on this site asking for advice. I'm looking for opinions. I give my opinions, and I leave it at that, I don't care about reputation, or what any of you guys think of me, as long as what you think of me doesn't waste my time. That may be hypocritical, if somebody could steer me in the right direction that would be awesome... It doesn't work that way though apparently, I am simply(heavy emphasis on simply) to get off the computer and sarge... sarging hasn't answered these questions...

I've made the new accounts, because people ASSUMED, they trusted their gut, they jumped the gun, that I am not sarging, that I am not following the advice that people have given me time and time again.

The hell else am I supposed to do for the 8 hours that I sit at work? On top of studying... what else is there to do?

Do I need to make another account again, just so the false assumptions won't get in the way of actual constructive answers?

I made a thread asking what other people thought of the concept "be a man" if you don't know how, can't practice, and have nobody to guide you to even knowing what a man is, how can the words "be a man" be of any use. Some people can't "see through the trees" They try hard, they make guesses, and test their assumptions, but are mostly always wrong, or are lead in the wrong direction, so they become confused. They ask a question, and get an answer they CANNOT relate to, because the answer is always of the same "be a man" genre... Something that has never been any use to them in the past.

A lot of guys have this same problem. Women tell them "just be yourself", guys tell them, "just be a man". Do you notice the difference?

Post some FR:'s, some DR:'s, etc.

Have a journal.

Tell a funny story.

Something, anything, that would have other's assume that you have any type of game besides KBJ game. That would help build a little rapport with the peer group here. Relate some experience, not just generic "I get laid, I sarge."

I just won the lottery. Notice I didn't say which, how much, or what I'm doing with the money? I did actually win the lottery, but without a little backup, it's just a lie.

All anyone can tell about you is that you are a gasbag with too much time on your hands. That is, you are a troll. Couple that with your being 22 and you have a pimple-faced dork that doesn't actually get laid. But then again, you could be Stephen Colbert. There's no telling.

Yay, I got an answer:D

Thanks vulpine:)

One more question, serious, not hypothetical.

Why didn't I think about that in the first place?
