I've never used it to convert image file types, just for video formats but it also converts jpg's. Because it's a free site though it might not convert your pics in the greatest quality. If that's the case search google for a program that'll convert image file types.

Picasa is good but I've found either Microsoft Digital Studio or Nero picture viewer do a better job. Picasa is free though.
Once you open the picture go to: file/save as/name it/then save as a .jpeg into whatever folder you can remember to find it in.
