"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yeah, I just want to post about a certian thing Iam sorta going through right now. To make this clear, my best friend is a girl, and their is not romantic connection between us. But it seems that whenever she tells me about something she did, like skating or something with a friend and all and Iam not present for it, I start getting jealous tendencies. I don't get it. Iam not a jealous person, and generally don't care who she hangs out with. But I get these tendencies get in the way.

Any explanations, suggestions, interpretations appreicated.

This is one of the unusual time when I have actually posed a relationship question. Wierd.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

thing is, are worlds apart. Iam outgoing, tend to have bad boy tendencies but good heart inside, she is the ideal christian girl.

I don't even get how we are so close friends, but we are.

You do like her dude, its like a one-itis which you don't want to believe because of the differences you both have.

I have the same problem in a way,but here, the girl I like is super rich and I'm not. That's the difference I mess with everyday.

To get over your jealousy, you have to start hanging out with her more often. If you hang out with her a lot,she will start talking about stuff you both did together rather than stuff she did with someone last weekend and such. When she starts talking about stuff you did together, you will really enjoy it and feel your heart glow if you like her..And *Poof*..Jealousy is gone.

You like her, you just haven't realised it yet. Hanging out with her all the time means she might talk about what you both did together, but it will also make you like her a lot more, drive her away because you're seeing her too often, and probably make you look needy. Solutions: Hit on her; keep feeling jealous and let it pass; rationalise with the jealousy until you realise that it doesn't solve anything. Of course, having other girls will help you think of other things, tho.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
