"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Hi guys,

I'm new here. I have a friend who gives me serious buying signals all the time - she works at this pub I go to. Her boyfriend is very, very possessive and jealous, and he shows up everytime she works, sometimes staying for hours, to make sure no one hits on her or anything. He's really creepy. I'm into her, but also, I think this guy is really controlling and probably abusive. He's much smaller than me so I'm not worried about him in that regard. How can this be exploited? I like to blatantly stare at her ass and legs in front of him - I could see out of the corner of my eye that he saw me doing this and smoke was coming out of his ears. Regardless of whether I score with her, I think she needs to launch this guy for her own good. I hesitate to bring up his frankly disturbing behaviour with her, because it's none of my business. Does anyone have any ideas how I can broach the subject without necessarily talking about her situation? I was thinking of talking about my jealous and controlling ex girlfriend and saying how damaging that can be on a relationship.....

Should I keep staring at her til he has a meltdown or what? I mean, people are getting afraid to even talk to her at this point.

Thanks for any input guys!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I'd stear clear of that whole situation. No telling what that psycho will do to protect his "property". (as I'm sure he views her).

There are too many women out there to get mixed up in that.

You don't even know the guy and you are making judgments on him - for all you know that could be her pimp. If you blatantly disrespect people in public don't be suprised if you get your ass kicked by a smaller guy who is more viscious than you or maybe a knife in the back. Or guys may be waiting outside to teach you a lesson and take your eyes out!

Why don't you find a g/f on your own that is not spoken for!! Get your ass off the bar stool and start looking elsewhere!!

Have you ever considered that she called him because she feared your stalking her and eyeing her like you want to rape her? And he is waiting for you to make your move so that he can pounce on you!

Sound advice. I do know the guy fairly well though, I'm not passing judgment based on nothing. You are right, I need to get off the barstool. That's been my main problem - I got caught up in the pub going far too much that it became habit forming. I've really improved that aspect of my life.
