I have recently heard about these condoms from Japan called Kimono and there is another called Orinoko or something like that. Anyone know how effective these are? How do they perform? How does the latex odor compare to american/euro brands?

Kimono are very good. Thinner than Trojan and stronger too.

that is good to hear... most stuff made in japan seems high qual although I usually think of cars/electronics. I guess these condoms use a type of latex called sheerlon which is thinner/stronger than american made condoms (50 microns thick). I was afraid they'd break easier but I guess there are enough testimonials out there to say otherwise. I was thinking about getting either the kimono ultra thins or the beyond seven's. Anybody know how the odor compares? I would think it would be less since less material is used but I read one comment on amazon that said otherwise.

I bought Kimonos because I hated the smell of Trojans and Trojan Supras always broke on me. I think they smell a lot better.
