"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

So I just moved to this new state right. Well I'm gonna be a junior in highschool this year, yet I do not have a car yet. In fact I don't even have my learners yet! (which I should be getting in about a week...). But as I just got here like a week ago, I just realized this: why don't I just use my mom's (single parent) car? She doesn't use it at all during the weekday besides going out at night (due to the gas prices and the fact that she can ride the train), and she even leaves the keys here! It's like she's telling me to grab them!

But seriously, I know that I'm a good driver, and I do know what I'm doing. Plus it's not like some cops are gonna pull me over for no reason, this stuff never happens (right?).

What do you guys think? Have any of you done anything like this? I know I almost did it once about 2 months ago because it could've been a free pass to ass...

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Wow thats cool. Yeah, I'm hoping to get a car by at least early next year, but until then I wish I could have some sort of transportation. The cool things is that she wakes up early as crap, gets off late, and the car is a customized Mustang GT with one helluva sound system.

So basically, this is an awesome idea. :)

Dude, dont risk driving without a license. Even if you're the world's best driver, some douchebag is going to run a stop sign or something, plow into you, then the cops are gonna come and you'll be in deep crap not just from the cops but also your mom.

Depends where you are and what you look like.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I caught my little brother (13 years old) driving my dad's car one day. I beat his ass then lectured him to kingdom come about what would happen if he ran a kid over, crashed, got a ticket, etc.

Get your ****ing license. You can think you're a great driver (and I've heard plenty of times I am), you got a chance of accident every day. I can name 4 off the top of my head where I almost got in an accident, and I have a license (it'll be a year next month; only had a car since January). You don't know how to drive, you're going to wreck it. It's not worth the risk, man. Work harder on your game. Getting a car didn't help my game at all, it just made me able to attend every party without my parents.

There's also a chance that I could get struck by lightning tomorrow. Or a meteor. Or be forced to give some 250 pound rapist who's obsessed with John Stamos a bl0wjob. But most likely thats not gonna happen. Now of course theres more of a chance I would get in an accident than any of those things happening, but hey.. with risk comes reward. And that reward is gonna be the chance for me to get my c0ck milked alot more often than if I didn't have a car. :D

Plus it's not like I'm gonna be using it all the time.

Sounds like your mind is made up and you were looking to SS as a means of justifying what you already know is a bad idea anyway. Everybody has recommended you NOT do this, and with good reason.

The consequences outweigh the benefits in every regard.

Don't come around asking for wisdom if you plan to ignore it.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Well a lotta places don't have cops rolling around. So if you're driving in a cop-free area, to another (maybe a friend or a girl's house) it should be OK. Just don't be nervous.

And cops have been known to profile.

You want to risk chance of having a juvenile record just for some ass? You'd also be driving without insurance... And you could be charged with driving a stolen vehicle if the cops ask your mom if she gave you permission to drive..

Do what you wish... But you have been warned!

Rule #1: Don't be dumb.

I agree with bacardiGuy, you really seem like you've got your mind made up on this already. Honestly, you're not going to get any because you've got a cool car. That's a seriously AFC notion, imo... no girl is going to see your (mom's) car and want to hook up with you because of it. Telling yourself you won't get into an accident and that you won't get pulled over is as really just lying to yourself.

BTW, i know this is my first post, i've been reading the boards for awhile and decided this was as good a place as any to start contributing. :)

Alright, no need to get your knickers in a twist fellas. No I did not come here with my mind already made up, I do take into account your posts.

I'm not getting a car just so I can get some girl hot and bothered by looking at it. I'm getting it so that I can have the opportunity to bang the chick in the car and/or take her somewhere to bang her (more convenience, privacy), as well as transportation. Sorry for not being clear on that.

Gotcha.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

These guys are all retarded. First of all, having a nice car will make girls want to sleep with you, I've seen this happen time and time again. As far as legality goes, I'm not sure how it is in the US, but in Canada, driving alone with your learner's is no worse than forgetting to display the little "L" or "N" magnet on the back of your car, or having one too many passengers. It's the exact same thing, "driving contrary to restrictions." Pretty much the least significant offense available.

What could get you in trouble though, is stealing your mom's car. You'd be way better off convincing her to give you permission, because if she comes home and it's gone, she could report it stolen, then you will get pulled the fvck over, and whatever bltch is in the passenger seat will not be impressed when you both get dragged off in cuffs.

In the US, illinois at least, you'll likely get busted for driving without a license, and not having insurance, since whatever insurance you have probably isn't going to cover you when you don't yet have a license. Gmillar, would you care to say WHY having a nice car will make girls want to sleep with you?

Most accidents happen within 15 minutes from home. Because "its only gonna be around my area" you let your gaurd down because you're so familiar with the area.

Plus your mom would kill you if she found out, you know how much her insurance rates would go up if you were in a crash?

I'm no psychologist, but it's true. Yeah, I wish women weren't shallow, but it's just a fact of life, I've seen it many time. It's quite likely that the confidence boost provided by having a car contributes, but the car definitely plays a part. In an ideal world, it would just come down to personality, but we don't live there, do we? Believing that a car will have no effect on a man's success with women, while admirably idealistic, is simply mistaken.

As far as a license goes, I never suggested he drive without one. The man says he's getting his learner's in a week. That's a fvcking driver's license, genius. As I said already, he would merely be driving contrary to restrictions, which, in Canada, a country with a stupid amount of driving restrictions, is an extremely minor offense, like failing to display your "L" sign or having too many passengers. I'm not sure why I'm saying all this again.

Insurance covers you even when you break the rules. They'll still pay liability if you were speeding and crashed into someone. Think about it.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
