The only information I shall offer: We have been in a serious relationship for a year now
Ask me anything.
Ask me anything.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Interesting, I was expecting to be flamed.trailerpark said:Congrats dude. The odds are extremely rare not for getting a gf online but for finding one of any sort of quality. How long were you looking for? How many did you date?
What are your looks?Shivastorm_88 said:Interesting, I was expecting to be flamed.
It took me about six months. I'd say I've been on fifty dates, slept with about twenty. I managed to find a high-quality woman, but it took a lot of time and weeding out. Fortunately, I got plenty off ass in the meantime

Physique?
Rock climber's typical body. Look it up (we both are climbers). I was on the verge of competing before I torn my ligaments on my ankle. I am now just getting back into it... She also has your typical rock climber's body.
Age?
27, she is 25, almost 26
It's definitely relative in OLD. (Meaning just saying witty lines isn't the end all be all. Nor is "game". It's how attractive the females think you are and how your personality and mouthpiece is. Most want a quick fix but seem to ignore their own lackings. As in their own looks level, physique, age, pictures used and being able to think on their feet and not use just a script.)
Now to get a girlfriend from OLD isn't impossible. Most any dude who looks good can get a gf there. But it's the quality aspect of said gf.
Congrats again. You might have found one who is truly a good woman. Extremely rare. How long was she online dating for?
She had been OLD for about three months, going on 2-3 dates a week. Although about 95% of these men she didn't see them a second time. In those three months, other than me, she only slept with two guys.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Good work. Looks like you had common interests, young age, physique. Nothing like the "game" nonsense.Shivastorm_88 said:In bold.
I have for the first few months. Now, I know her enough to no longer feel the need to be constantly on my guard. If ever she does something fishy, it'll change. However, so far she is far more stable than your average person, male or female.captain55 said:Okcupid has much higher quality women than POF in my experience. Still the odds that any guy is going to land an attractive female online who isn't ****ed up mentally is very low like the guys above me said. Just keep your eyes open
Montreal. There are about 1.6 million people, and the greater Montreal area is about 2.5. I'm also lucky because I am perfectly bilingual, so I get broader pool of women, including those who go study at McGill from everywhere in Canada, the States, and certain Asian countries.jurry said:50 dates in 6 months wow thats some productivity man, where do you live if you dont mind me asking?
There are hardly 50 dateable girls on okc in a 6 month span near me, nevermind getting them all out to meet me. I live in a small city (200k people).
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
I usually sent a generic message. In her case, she legitimately seemed interesting from her pictures (kayaking pictures) so I commented on that. She's very active and adventurous (not as much as I am, but still), so she immediately was interested in me based on my pictures (pictures of me out there doing stuff, such as hiking, rock climbing, para gliding, scuba diving). We exchanged very few messages (4-5 each) then we set up a dateIgetit! said:Only thing I'd like to know is what you said to her when you messaged her for the first time.
Caucasian. She's Asian (Japanese)skinnyguy said:What race are you
Been there, done that, ain't for me.Espi said:Not flaming you. At 27 spin plates. In my opinion You're stunting your sexual growth limiting yourself to one woman.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Oops, other way around, sorry. She feels I would have an easier time walking awayjurry said:She acknowledges you have the upper hand but feels like you would have a harder time walking away than she would..
Sounds a bit contradictory no?
Lol so you're white and you pulled an Asian girl. What an accomplishment.Shivastorm_88 said:I usually sent a generic message. Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
