i go for a # close with this approach:

ME: u seem pretty cool so far, we should chill sometime.

HER: oh really? i have to say ya not to bad yaself..sure we can do that.

ME: ill call ya sometime..

HER: would u mind if i call you because im not really comfortable giving my number out...

ME:fine, heres my cell cuz i dont give my home number out to strangers.

HER: (laughing) ya funny... ok so what it is?


this really never happened to me before... girls usually just forked over the #... i mean i dont really care if they call or not but im wondering if it is my approach??

There could be many reasons for a girl saying that, bad past experiences or trying to keep the ball in her court are possiblities.
but who cares!

The fact that you said "ME: u seem pretty cool so far, we should chill sometime." was right on point because you are qualifiing her and she picked up on that.

This is funny but it won't get you anywhere fast so here's what you should say in response:

"HER: would u mind if i call you because im not really comfortable giving my number out"

"No sorry, last time I gave my # to a cutie she stalked me and kept calling in the middle of the night like a cat in heat!"

I guarantee you she'll laugh, which will take the tension of the situation and make her feel comfortable!

Then once everything is light again, call her on the fact she didn't want to give it out

"I take it you're not interested in at least being friends, that's cool." then turn away!!!!!!!!!

I guarantee you if she has any interest in you at all she will grab you and give you her number.

Good luck, but with this technique you won't need it.

Elimidate hit the nail on its head.
Any girl that hesitates during the approach is either shyt testing you to see how big your balls are or giving you "blatant" signs of low interest. To diffrentiate the two, just stay calm and composed, use like C+F like Elimidate or simply walk. It appears as though in this particular situation she was shyt testing. If she doesnt clamor, F her. Girls like this have alot of tricks and games with them. So dont think of it as a slight in your game it will only prove detrimental.


Also next time change ill call ya sometimes to give me your number. Its more dominate. She probaly laughed cause you gave in so easy to her shyt test, never give a girl your number, its not worth the things that come along with it.
