You're dead accurate with that statement SI. I met a girl last month who moved across the country with her b/f and her then "best friend." Long story short, she had some problems with her boyfriend then caught the two of them in bed together. Poor girl she's in bad shape now, the downward spiral keeps winding for her and she really doesn't have anywhere to go.
Too bad so sad, but she know what the girl was like before so I can't figure why she didn't see that coming. When you leave your man alone with a ho what would you expect to happen...HE'S A MAN AND SHE'S A HO!

status is big in HS.. and if ur GF is hot and goes to the same school.. you've moved up in the world..
and the statement "she wants what she can't have" is dead on! .. and thats the same for EVERYONE... hence why challenge creates attraction.
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Yeah, this is something I learn every time I get a girl friend. Word has recently got out that I'm seeing someone and since then I've been asked on 3 dates, had 2 sex propositions, had 1 girl ask for my number, getting lots of txt messages from random girls and god knows how many women flirting and complimenting me. Plus a girl who LJBFd me before has turned psycho, keeps crying and calling me at all hours.
I think it has something to do with becoming unavailable. Women that may have took you for granted or been thinking of you as a future prospect suddenly realise they can't do that any more. Plus as Strong Like Bull said, it increases your value when you are desired by other women.
