I wasn't singling anyone out,. This applies to all the guys here who give advice where they have no experience!

There are lots of posters here who talk a big game and are real good at spitting out textbook advice they read elsewhere but you can tell from their posts they have no clue!

The guys with cynical attitudes and distrust towards women for example. I cannot believe those guys ever get any female attention if thats how they think! I find it hard to believe they even have any friends.

I'm no psychologist but I can smell bullsh*t and a lot of the posts here reeek of it!

I agree 110%. Those who don't know much need to keep their mouths' shut, learn, and go gain experience. Those who have experience will help "teach" you and then one day after you gain experience you'll be the ones giving the advice.

If you hadn't played a game of organized basketball in your life, you wouldn't go on a basketball forum and start posting advice. It's even worse to do that here.

Get your egos in check and realize that you shouldn't give advice unless you have experience. This board has the potential to be great, but guys need to check themself before they try to give advice.

There should be a meter that shows experience level. (aside from reputation)

IE: FR's add to it, or from experience advice only.
We'll make it really goddamn big so people can actually look at a person and say 'yeah, he posts fr's and real-life advice, and it's sensible, listen to him'

That's what we need, or reputation needs to be better depicted so we can tell that Shezz has more rep then me, for example.

Good post and I agree with every word!

I can usually tell the difference between genuine posters and keyboard jockeys, but newbies here are naive enough to take any advice they're given. I know I did!

I second Docs too. The reputation system needs an overhaul!

Another idea is that you can't add/deduct reputation points until your own reputation is over a certain total. That way we won't get clueless newbies and trolls influencing rep points.
