It's already the second videogame I buy that gets dropped after 30 seconds

I've always been a fan of the total war saga, I played rome total war and empire total countless hours since the late 2000s both vanilla and with mods.

Recently I bought both attila total war and the remastered version of rome total war and installed a brand new mod that basically makes it better than the new version.

Both the times I started playing it but after 30 seconds of countless complications compared to the older games I just said "fvck it, I dont need a second job that doesnt even pay" and dropped them right after.

Is that because I got old or cause such complications defeat the purpose of videogaming?
