"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Ask yourself what you want from life. It could be many things. I am pretty confident that a majority of you would say that you want an attractive girlfriend. You probably don’t know why you want a girlfriend, but for some reason you feel like something’s missing without her.

Ever since we were kids, we have been told what we want from life. A wife, kids, a house, a descent job, you know the ****. We were told that we were supposed to have a girlfriend. That was the ultimate goal in life; women. If you didn’t have a girlfriend, then you were a loser because you couldn’t get one. There was no “I don’t want a girlfriend”.

You saw it in movies, on television, everywhere. You saw the perfect intimate moments an actor and actress had together. You saw that and subconsciously burned the idea into your head. You decided that that was what you wanted. This is the base of our society in regards to our sexual conquests.

We are surrounded by “the game”. It is everywhere. By “game” I mean the game of attraction; pimping, playing, whatever you might call it. It is what everyone does, anyone who doesn’t do it is called gay and deemed a loser. People desperately try to attract those who they are attracted to, with redundant and inane tactics and techniques. Some will be nice, some will bend over anytime a girl tells them to, some will be a jerk, some will be suave, and some will funny.

Some succeed, some fail. Sadly their confidence comes from their success or failure. In all reality it makes no difference.

Why? Why all of the drama? Why all of the bull****?

“Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this: the peak of your civilization.”

“Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more that your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Yes? No? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can't win. It's pointless to keep fighting. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist?”
-Agent Smith, The Matrix

I’m sorry, but he is right. We as humans need drama in our lives. We pretend that our lives are disasters because that was what we were brought up to believe. We were told by movies and television that depression and misery were not only acceptable but “normal”. Happy people were weird, overly talkative, and naïve.

We attempt to convince ourselves that our lives have some sort of meaning by using our emotions. You think your DNA gives a **** about your existence? Your DNA “cares” about one thing; survival. Reproduction. A continuation of the species.

It is what our lives revolve around. Why else would you be “attracted” to slim, healthy, and “beautiful” women? Because they carry the “strong” genes and are most likely to continue the existence of the species with the strongest youth. Unfortunately our conscious supports our basic instincts without us even knowing. If it didn’t work that way, then a person would tell themselves “**** women, I have better things to do with my time” and then the species would not reproduce. The survival of the species would be under fire. The very base of our existence would be rejected by our own minds.

Drama is sought by not only women but men too. It is evident everywhere you go. The classic AFC is a grade A example. He is a slave to his emotions, however he is in conflict with his believe that men have no emotions and that expressing them is feminine. But then they hear that women want sensitive guys; they don’t know what the hell to think. And who’s to blame them?

We are all slaves to the outside world. We all take everything a person says seriously and as a result an insecure society who fears standing out has risen from the ground up. You were never meant to stand out or be different. You are just the same as anyone else, a loser who will never amount to anything.

Your personal problems are meaningless. You have everything you need to rise to the top. You have all that you need to be the person you have always wanted to be. In the end, whether or not you accept “the matrix” is up to you.

The matrix is all around you. You can see it when you look out your window. You can see it when you go to work. You can see it when you go to church, when you pay your taxes.

Normal. Part of what everyone else is part of. The Matrix is society; what is expected of you. Whether you accept it or reject it is up to you. Rejecting the bonds that you yourself have placed is step one to becoming who you want to be.

Society is overrated. The "game" is overrated. The life so many people chase is WAY overrated. Be yourself, without the boundaries. I’ll leave you with this quote from the bible;

The greatest barrier to achievement or success is not lack of talent or ability but rather, the fact that achievement and success, beyond a certain level, are outside our self-concept - our image of who we are and what is appropriate to us. The greatest barrier to love is the secret fear that we are unlovable. The greatest barrier to happiness is the wordless sense that happiness is not our proper destiny.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Nice post. Sadly I believe your right, the game is overrated. Ill continue to DJ, but at the same time, Im going to be myself. Im going to stop worrying about that girl that doesnt like me as more than a friend. I think people need to realize that it doesnt matter whether a girl will not look passed you as a friend, they need to be thankful that they have them in their lives. One day we all will become old and regret everything we did to that girl that didnt deserve everything that we did to her. So basically what Im saying is be yourself, you dont always need to worry about DJing that girl. If she only likes you as a friend, than be happy. Be happy she is a part of your life, and your a part of hers. Accept the friendship, dont be an *******, and look for another girl.
