denmark sucks :moon: . the standard of living is much too high. had a chance to spend a day there due to bad weather in kiev. beautiful town. boring people. extremely safe. if it had the tax status of luxembourg it would be a nice place to settle down with an ukraine wife. i'm a lazy fellow. i don't like to don juan myself to death in order to get a beautiful girl. i find it hard enough getting out of bed in the morning. i like places where beautiful girls are impressed by my western style. denmark ain't one of them.

quality of girls? for a baltic nation it is really pathetic. i would give lithuania, latvia, estonia, and russia MUCH higher ratings in that regard. the girls were a bit rough. lack of tiny skirts and cheap makeup. i didn't get any of the looks that ukraine girls are famous for. lack of a thug factor as well. i didn't see any youngish shaved head thugs getting out of bmw's or lexus suv's. if you are from the usa or britain it will still seem very nice :crackup: the girls are of a much higher quality than what can be found in those two countries. attitudes? i don't know. i didn't spend enough time there. i would suspect a bit spoiled because of the super high standard of living.

best thing is that the copenhagen airport has lots of direct flights to the former soviet union. sas airlines has several flights to kiev for example. problem is that they have anal carry-on restrictions. i prefer flying klm. they always let me drop my heavier carry-on bag off when i get to the actual plane.

in saying all of this....YES, you should travel. traveling is much cheaper than most of you think. it is fun. you will learn a great deal about yourself. all in all, i have yet to find one person who is sorry that they spent too much time/money traveling. drive a piece of s*** in the usa and use the money to get out more often. move back in with the folks. do what you need to do.
