Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

It should not be 50/50 in a relationship

seriously, think about it.

what a male and a female provide in a relationship is completely different. These are not two halves of 100%.

A man should provide 100 percent of what is required of a man. A female should provide a 100 percent of what is required from a female. Pure and simple. You can't divide something that doesnt exist, something that is incompatible.

You are simply the best man who does everything a real man does, and you expect the same from your woman. The 50/50 BS is only going to confuse you and contribute to your insecurities (oh no, i accidentally did the dishes, im not an alpha male anymore!)

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Whoa. You know, you've got a great point, bro.

You can't divide something intangible, but you can make it as fair as possible. Obviously, it can't be exactly half all the time...or even 75% of the time. It's always being able to compromise, to an extent.

There's a fine line there in some circumstances. I've got buddies who get taken advantage of in the '50/50' game, and those that take advantage.

To me, the important thing is to pull your weight. If your in a relationship, there are certain sacrifices to be made.

The idea is to give some, take some. If you taka advantage of that, your a damn leech, bottom line.

This is pretty basic shit, but a lot of people don't get it.

And this has nothing to do with being AFC (I'm getting so fucking sick of that term here), it has to with this:

"Hey, babe, me and my boys are gonna go shoot some pool/grab some drinks at the titty bar, I'll be home after bartime unless I'm too piss drunk to drive, in that case, I'll be at xxxx's house. I'll probably call you later."

-and then for her-

"Oh, you wanna go out with the girls? Okay, have fun, see you when you get back. Later".

Or in my case, we just take turns grabbing rounds, shots, half-racks, smokes, whatever. I know if I'm particularly broke just having payed tons of bills, she'll will float me, and vice versa. Always make it right. Always.

That's the kind of stuff I expect in a relationship.

This post was needed. Alot think its all up to the man in the relationship to do all the work/pay the bills. You dont always have to jump to paying for everything,if that is what you are doing then you have screwed yourself already. Everyone needs time away from each other to refresh. If you want to hang with the "homies" for a night should be a issue, and vica versa.
Example. I went to dinner last week with a hb7.5 and I paid. We went out a couple of nights later and she offered. It is only fair.

This is old info, good info but old. A relationship is what you put into it. If a person only give 50% (a half @ssed effort) guess what they will get out of it?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

this was not about putting in 50%

this was about the confusion that ensues when people think that they are putting in a half of the total.
