Long story short, a recent oneitis told me that she no longer has any feelings for me. You may think I'm upset, wondering where it all went wrong? ;) While I am disappointed that things didn't work out, I also felt an unexpected sense of liberation, and was filled with a sort of "I don't give a **** anymore" kind of feeling, not in a bitter way, but a sense of freedom kind of way, and it's made me want to go out there and improve myself :)

Have any of you guys had this sort of experience, maybe not just from a oneitis experience, but where it felt like everything just clicked all at once?

Yes.

Acceptance is key. So hard to accept someone not liking you, but it is eventually freeing.

Part of you just will do *anything* rather than accept it. But I have accepted it, and its f-ing freeing.

I learned to quit being so presumptuous. I always think of how I gotta impress a woman as if she has no flaws. Now I'm more aware of attaching qualities to a woman she might not even have.

Oh man, yes yes yes. It was the greatest, most life changing, and the longest lasting epiphany I have ever had. That feeling of like of just being wowed by the whole universe and stuff. It was almost trippy lol. Lasted for like a month straight, from the second I woke up, to the second I went to bed. It was at that moment when I began to grow up. 2 years later, I'd have another one which would make me become a natural DJ, but when it began to fade away, I sought new ways to improve myself and especially my social skills. Then I found this place. Pretty gud sh!t.
