"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

At the end of a date or the day after a date, isn't it a common thing to say "i had a good time, we should do it again sometme"

Isn't that like a standard thing to say? Ive always said it and it worked. Yet the other day i said it the morning after a date online, and the girl got creeped out (or at least claims she was, my hunch is she was just using that as an excuse cuz she just had low interest) But she right away said "let's see what happens before we get married buddy" Which to me was an insult. An insult to my intelligence especially, cuz i just asked her if she would wanna do it again sometime (which is how u know if u should talk to this girl or leave her alone) I voiced my displeasure over her comment, and she didnt seem to understand why that would even be an insukting thing to me, and she was like "well if ur looking to get married tommorow, then ur answer is no, i dont wanna do it again."

Is she just a b*tch? I dont think i ever encountered that sort of thing with a girl before.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

No, she's unstable. Don't get ticked off...just be glad she showed you the red-flag early.

Unless you did something REALLY weird.

Hahahaha come on bro...what ever happend to using that charm that C&F to shove sh!t back in her face.

She actually told u something about marriage and you didnt say "WTF, slow down all because we went out, doesnt mean i want you...you have a long way to go of playing your cards right before i can make the decision of knowing your worth it or not"

...or some bs like that.

I personaly think its a sh!t test. Plus from previous experience i believe if one day after your date especialy online you IM the girl and start talking about how good and blaa blaa blaa the date was yesterday they get creeped out, kinda makes you look desperate too (with a chick of this sort, moderate intrests, needs work to get with)

although I am not fond of this punk, he has good info.

agreed

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

It was online, correct?

I think she was joking with you, and you over-reacted, and she freaked out.

Your foul bro.
