I don;t think its black or white. Yes, higher % of safe( boring?), softer, less masculine guys will be professionals compared to criminals, but you can still be alpa/masculine if professional. Less likely though as more likely to have been brain-washed, on the treadmill of life compared to people who aren;t on that path and follow the rules set by most of society.

It's normal for a man to have this thought and entertain it for at least of couple of minutes. A guy with no tattoos who isn't getting laid and sees guys with tattoos getting the women he wants is prone to have a thought line of this. I wouldn't criticize a man for having that thought.
