"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

ok this story continues from my previous one. http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=200405

about a month ago i found out that my best friend slept with my ex gf and i removed him from my life (fb etc). This girl i was talking to i told her about it and told her to remove him on fb (i told him before to add her as we were all going to meet up when she came). She said yh and that she understands that i am hurt.

Now yesterday i met up with him for coffee to try and resolve our friendship. I told him that two weeks ago what she did to me in the club. He then tells me that last week shes clicking like on his profile pictures.

What is she doing? Does she like him? Why would she do that, esp after what he did to me?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Don't get why you did this. Its not a big deal and the fact that you even bothered to tell her to remove him reeks of insecurity, like it or not.

Now yesterday i met up with him for coffee to try and resolve our friendship. I told him that two weeks ago what she did to me in the club. He then tells me that last week shes clicking like on his profile pictures.
Oh my god, they might as well be having sex at this point! What an egregious, unforgivable offense and despicable betrayal!

What is she doing? Does she like him? Why would she do that, esp after what he did to me?
I know I'm giving you a hard time, but know that I'm just having some fun and I can totally see how having a betrayal like that can really throw you for a spin and I can sympathize how you must be feeling right now.

I do think you're making a big deal out of it - its a fvcking "like" on Facebook. The fact that he even tried to one-up/taunt you with that is so beyond pathetic I still can't believe that he wasn't being facetious when he said that to you. I've dated/ONS'd dozens of women during college, and not a single one of these flings started with the girl "liking" random pictures on my Facebook. Maybe he has funny profile pictures? Maybe she's been to one of the places in his profile pictures and liked it based on that? There are a dozen reasons why and none of them are even worth getting into because its a "like" on a Facebook picture.

You're being too overbearing with this girl who you aren't even dating and if you keep up this attitude you're going to sabotage your chances with her. I know your buddy hurt you and that shyt sucks, but trying to rally this girl against him is not the right answer. It may hurt, but you need to at least pretend that it doesn't bother you. Don't even mention it, it's not a big deal and its totally irrelevant to you and her.

The fact that he slept with your ex (I'm assuming recent ex) is dangerous shades of grey territory on the morality meter, but its obvious that you feel its a big deal and if you feel that way I don't blame you. Relationships can end tricky, and the last thing you want to hear is something like that. Most men have a sense of honor and respect towards people they consider their friends, and would never put you in that kind of uncomfortable situation. That kid is not your friend and if you take him back into your life it will probably happen again. Don't make a big deal out of it, don't make a fuss about it or shove it in his face, just stop talking to him and move on.

both of them?

From what I see the girl has done nothing wrong. I know you're rightfully a little paranoid after what happened, but there's no reason to turn against her from what she's done (aka fvcking nothing).

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
