So I met this girl at a friends. Was pretty sure she was into me. We started texting a bit. The people she lives with at school started teasing her saying I was into her. She told me about this and told them how we are just friends. Is this considered friend zoned or just something a woman does as these people bugging her were guys

No that's not necessarily the friend zone. She was put on the spot and maybe wasn't sure about you just yet.

I love these "friend" situations, they are so easy to play:

You respond to her and everyone to hear: "haha I'm just messing around with her having fun she is funny as he|| ! But she is not my type either so yeah she is right we are just friends".

Early on NEVER tell anyone around you have interest, even YOUR friends, UNLESS you are 10,000% sure they won't turn around and c0ck block you and make a joke out of it. Play with others' heads too until you seal the deal.

You see, her hearing that you only think of her as friend will make her little hamster brain start going "Just friends? I am only good enough to be his friend!! I am better than that!! " Then she will start chasing you and wa la!

Sadly I wasn't there to do anything. I just texted back how that's funny and after I apprently went cold cause I was about to go to bed and she asked of something was wrong with me lol

I still think you have a chance at this. Play it cool. Still tell all of your mutual friends that "naw she is not my type we are just friends like she says". Plant that seed out there. Don't text too much, even when she texts you. When you are pretty sure that word has got back to her that you are not interested in her, then ask her to go hang out with you somewhere. If she throws the "friend" card at you make sure you throw it right back. But still go out! You got this.
