Long story short I've spoken to a friend of my ex's a couple of times with some friendly convo really, and then she seemed to show some interest by asking me to come out and meet up with her on a sat night two weeks ago.

I couldn't make it and haven't spoken to her till today. Now when we were talking she asked me if I had spoken to my ex, which I haven't and she told me she saw hers recently but shes not puttin much into it and she told me she's hookin up with some other dude. I don't care and I am still gonna pursue, but I'm just wondering, you guys think this is a test or am I in friendzone?

Sounds like u r already in the friend zone butI don't think u can tell just from that. Try testing her back like kino and teasing. If she kino and tease back then she's interested.

You might be but not totally, women often use letting known they are dating for a couple of reasons, first as a shield to keep you back a bit to let her gather more info to see if your worth pursuing, secondly to let you know that men want her and that you have competition.

However I wouldn't worry too much about it as I think she was trying to relate to you about her ex, aka put her and you on the same level. I'd merely make a move and ask her out on a date and guage her interest from there. However she doesn't have high IL for you, its medium at best, but I don't think your deeply ingrained in the FZ, however dependant on her ethics, you might be ruled out cuz you were nailing her friend.

Only way to find out is to give it the old college try.

Well I'm definetly gonna make a move and ask next time I run into her and we talk. I think I have a shot, she knows that I treated my ex great and she was commenting how the kid she is hookin up with is such a great guy. I also make her laugh alot when we talk.

I started talking to her at first but never really made the moves, so I guess I haven't even let her know im interested like that just yet, I was trying to feel it out I guess yet keep mysterous, and it's working somewhat I think, she told me I should come out to a club she would be at that night two times. But now it's time to make a move.
