I never said maturity didn't matter at all. I just said youth and beauty matter MORE. Would you rather date a mature Betty White or an immature Jennifer Lawrence? I think we both know the answer. Now make Jennifer Lawrence mature and Betty White immature. You would still choose Jennifer Lawrence.. right? Sooooooo.. Conclusion:

Youth / Beauty > Maturity

Jeezus Christ, I facepalm a lot reading some posts on this forum. Yes, physical beauty matters a lot to men, but there are many of us who know good looking girls are a dime a dozen and would like a chick we can relate to. Many of us wont relate to an immature woman. Looks matter, but it isnt the only thing.

And youre right, women like older men, and men like younger women, but the average age gap in a relationship is only a few years. For the most part, most people date folks around their own age bracket. I wouldnt use celebrities, or the rich and famous, as shining examples of how most people behave.

Why not? They might not be examples of how most people behave but they are examples of how most people WANT to behave. At least when it comes to dating.

Celebrities are the few people in the world who can date exactly who they want. And the men WANT the young hotties and the women WANT the older men.

Nowadays many female celebs date and marry younger guys. Just look it up and see how much more common it is. Yet you wont hear me saying most women want younger men just because some rich women do it.

The exception proves the rule. The reason people even NOTICE older women with younger men is because its so odd.

PS - For every Donald Trump, theres a Ryan Gosling who didnt ignore Eva Mendez simply because shes over 30. Not all celebrity men behave the same way either. Nevermind the fact that shes older than him, he may propose, despite being able to attain any hot young piece of tail he wants. Some folks seem unable to accept that not all men behave one specific way.

No one said "ALL men". I said "most normal men". Those are my exact words.

I'm 28 and still hit the clubs. I look 23 right now, so i'm gonna ride that out as long as I can. I'm sure i'll hit a point where I will begin to look like an "old creeper". But until then, i'm "23" at the club.

I have no need to change tunes bro. Im in damn good shape with a full head of hair, and I will remain in good shape as I get older. So even if I lose my hair, Ill be in great shape, and I already know I rock the baldy well.

Ill be able to snag good looking girls my age or younger if I want to. But I prefer women around my age as I relate to them better. So if I am single in my 30s, Ill have no problem snagging the rarer hot over 30 babes. Lord knows they can be picky themselves though.

Being a stubborn optimist is a better practical choice, but it isn't always truly objective.
