"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Wow...Joekerr, this is really deep stuff. I 'think' I understand where your coming from and will give a personal example (not about women).

I've been lifting weights for years, and until that last 6 months ago I started making serious gains on my lifts, primarily the deadlift.

I used to watch what I eat, was focused on how I looked, I'd get a HB, etc..etc. I one day realized that I love to lift, for the personal challege itself, for me. It's me against the weight.

So, I did a mental change of attitude so to speak. I stripped away all the reasons why I was lifting before, I stopped caring about how I looked, how much I ate, I started focusing on the weight itself.

So, I started packing on the weight on the bar, I'm now deadlifting over 300lbs (a huge goal for me), something I never would have achieved before. And it's all because I let all the superficial reasons for weight lifting go, it's all for myself. My goal now is 400lbs.

In turn, I now feel stronger than I've ever have before, and I'm bigger too. But I don't even care about that because the gains that I've achieved, is mostly internal, the confidence of achieving something and knowing that I'm lifting for different reasons than the guy sitting there analyzing his bicep in the mirror at the gym.

So, I guess by stripping the 'game' away, you truly become honest with yourself, and your actions become natural in a way that a lot of "DJ's" try to fake. You take action in a way that just comes out, naturally, and you achieve the things you truly want in life and women.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

You are comparing apples with carrots. Bill Gates never worked out a day in his life. Pitt is ripped.

Let's take a more realistic comparison. Dave Palumbo(bodybuilder) and Brad Pitt. They both have great physiques (Pitt has a better physique, Palumbo is too big). However, Palumbo has a grotesque face (not even average). Palumbo is my neighbor. He lands hb9's- hb10's.

This is not rocket science.

IMPROVE YOURSELF and you will never settle. Anything you ask of life, with hard work and diligence, life shall deliver.
Right, which is my point not everyone has the same potential, some have more potential than others. We can debate whether Palumbo's face is below average and being ripped is the main factor he gets women, whether Gates can get as good physique as Brad pitt, etc. but the point is people ahve differing potential.

What's the point in disqualifying yourself before you even MEET this girl?

Also, how can you get into a woman's brain and see through her eyes what she finds physically attractive or not?
Reset, that's not the point. The point is that you shouldn't care if she finds you physically attractive. All you should care about, is whether you find her attractive.

If you find her attractive, go for it. It's as simple as that.

Trying to get into her brain and trying to mold yourself into what you think she finds attractive, is going to confuse the hell out of you, and you won't naturally take action like you should.

I agree. It should be about YOUR fun.

If you like talking to women who turn you on, why deny yourself that?

(wow, I just asked myself a healthy question that I have no comeback for!)

Impossible. Unless you retire to a cabin in the middle of Alaska where a bush plane has to fly in your mac and cheese every week.

Fact is, no matter who you are or what you do 98% of the rest of the world doesn't even have a clue that there is a matrix. That means that you can take yourself outside of it to "escape" for awhile, but there is nothing short of becoming a hermit that will allow you to live your life completely outside of it.
True avoiding or ignoring reality won't change reality. Whatever reality or the matrix might be it's still a reality separate from one's perception of it or what part they choose to play in it. The most you can do is work within reality and try to influence it in your favor as much as you can.

I think Joekerr was on to something but he took it a little too far. There are some universal truths. I believe in regard to attracting women, Appearance, Status, and Value are universal qualities that attract women. How you define what those qualities are composed of and how you decide to best going about having them and demonstrating them is another question. I think what Joekerr is really saying is SS has the wrong focus and the wrong information. For example, your goal is to fvck as many 10's as possible and you can accomplish this by doing xyz and not doing a,b,c.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

this is to assume that when you unplug from all matrices that this has no impact on your interaction with those still plugged in.

but my argument is that i think there is a tremendous impact. that while they may still be plugged in, when interacting with you, someoen who is not plugged in, they will inherently recognize that they are dealing with someone 'special'.

in a sense, unplugging from the matrices / game makes you the ultimate prize.

potentially that is.

this is exactly what im talking about. to use your example... a lot of guys think if your going to lift weights then you have to a certain mentality. and if you don't, then you shouldn't be doing it. you aren't REALLY a weight lifter - you are not part of their (sub) culture.

but here you are, engaging in the same activity as they are, but with a completely different perspective. and a result, while you are both doing the same things (ie. lifting weights) you are having two completely different experiences.

while they are in it for the outcome (ie. to get better at the game - score chics, lift more than their buddy, have a 18 inch bicep, etc.) you are in it becuase you love it.

you experiencing the pure experience. as a result, its not even work. you aren't forcing yourself to do anything.

you are the kind of guy that will be crazy fit when he's 75. while the other guys won't keep up their commitment. when they are 55 most of their muscle will be gone and they will have a big gut.

its risky to quote the matrix in this thread, but i will, because its kidn of what we are getting at in all this....

Spoon boy: Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Spoon boy: There is no spoon.
Neo: There is no spoon?
Spoon boy: Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

but even more important than this. INFINITELY more important and the very crux of this thread, is the notion that her not finding you attractive is NOT a bad thing and it doesn't mean or say anything about you.

I have not read through all the responses yet, but I just want to say that as a man I am attracted to what I am attracted to, and I am not attracted to what I am not attracted to. I either want to fvck her or I don't. Fortunately for me this standard is not an HB 9 level, probably more like a 6 or a 7, or maybe even lower after a few beers lol, but once they fall below this standard I cannot force myself to be attracted to someone I am not. This would include women who are obese, anorexic, flat chest, or some other thing that just doesn't do it for me. If I cannot get it up not even viagra would force me to be with someone I am simply not attracted to. Being on here has not changed the way I feel about this, although it gives me hope in the future that I can still get with a high quality woman.
