Is there a difference between glucose and dextrose?

For a workout drink and post-workout drink, is there any advantage to taking glucose instead of dextrose? The reason I ask is I'm going to be taking glucose in my workout drink and I'll be taking dextrose in my preworkout drink. They have the same GI rating, but dextrose is a lot easier to mix and tastes better. I was just curious if one is better than the other? Thanks in advance.

It took forever to get an answer, but apparently dextrose is converted to glucose and soon as it's digested
