Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Ok I met this girl a few weeks ago. She is a pretty big christian. We have been on 2 mini dates. She gave me plenty of IOIs on these dates. She actually initiated the texting on a lot of days. Last thursday (about 8 days ago) was the last date we went on. She texted me like 15 min afterwards telling me how she had a great time. After we did a couple of texts she told me to text her the next morning. So I did but I only texted her a few times that day. All was going well just light texting and flirting. So then this past sunday (5 days ago) we set up a date for yesterday to go on a nature walk. She was excited about it. So I said great then its settled. She didn't text back to this. So I skipped texting her monday and tuesday. She didnt text me any which is fine with me. So I texted her wednesday with just some light joking around but the thing is she was really short with me. Then yesterday before the date I contacted her just to set up the logistics but she said she was gonna pick up a shift for one of her coworkers so she couldn't and that she was sorry. So I said its cool no worries. She didn't respond to this at all and still hasn't texted me today. Normally I wouldn't worry about it and just move on but the thing is she was into me and giving me IOIs and then all of sudden this. So I should I ask her about it or what?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I think your problem is too much blowing in the wind, no clarity, no leading. Just a bunch of flailing.

You have to get to the point with girls quickly.. lets go out, boom, grab her, boom, kiss her, boom. Talk to ya later! Few days later, come on lets go to blah blah, bam, more moves, back to your place, sex.. whatever. You get the idea.

Forget about aimless texting and all this crap. Thats the fast lane to the FZ.

Read your post, does she sound interested? Is that how interested people act?

Whatever you do: Go ghost now, don't chase. You'll soon find out her interest level. And it certainly won't go up if you keep chasing/pestering her.

I only texted her those days bc she only has 2 or 3 days that she can hang out bc of work and school. She even told me this when I first met her

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

If you find yourself making excuses for your actions, you're not listening. So why ask.

If she is interested she will let you know and you won't be asking whether she is interested...

Just wait her out and move on. There is a good chance she'll text you in a week. If you had 3 girls in this situation then you'd likely have one writing to you. They go away for a few weeks sometimes, even if you've banged them. If you don't whine to her she'll come back. You might text in a week (no less) but have a specific plan "I'll be going to this place on this day or this day next week, etc.". Then really go either way. I had a girl be late for sushi and when she wrote I texted back a photo of my sashimi plate since I went without her.

What the hell is with all this texting

You got to show her that your a busy man and you need to call her up and set something up. Stop all that texting back and forth and quit being so analytical about it too. If your trying to hook up with her you call her and set it up. If she doesn't respond at all then she isn't interested [period].

I honestly think this kind of thing would happen 90% less if guys just stop texting.

There's no mystery, no excitement. She can contact you whenever she wants and knows you'll reply and be available at her leisure. It's weak. You have to live your life and she has to want to be a part of it. Even if your life isn't the most interesting one, she'll THINK it is the less she knows about it. Learn to hype yourself.

So what if a girl texts you? Well here's what I do. Whatever she says, you can just give a short response and say "Kinda busy now, I'll call you tomorrow some time" or "Haha yeah, anyway I'll call you soon". Purposefully condition her to not text you as much. Oh, she'll want to, but she know she can't text you too much after you cut her off a few times like this or she'll come off as too needy and you'll lose interest. Now you're the guy she wants to text, but is afraid too and just has to wait for his call. In the mean time the others guys she's texting just become so easy and unchallenging. You stand out.

She'll automatically assume you're doing something more engaging than texting with her. Maybe even hanging out with another chick, even if you're just sitting on your ass doing nothing. Then you're free to call her whenever you want and she doesn't know when, you're making her follow you and your schedule and doing it so beautifully subtlety she won't have a chance.

When you call it's for a few minutes and you always end up asking her out again. Attraction happens IN PERSON and technology should only be used to facilitate meeting in person. This is why long distance relationships almost never work.

I'll give you an example from my life from a long time ago. There was a girl who I had been seeing, keeping with my all my rules and we went on some dates. One day we made out and the next day she freaked and called (notice how she's already conditioned to call me instead of text?) to say she couldn't see me anymore (she was religious). I called her on the phone and we talked about it and she agreed to come to dinner with me. Then she cancels by text. I don't reply, but call her the next day. She doesn't pick up. I text her "Hey, if I call you, are you gonna pick up". She replies "Sorry, call me in an hour". I call her, tell her it's okay and I understand. Then I let it lie for a couple of days and call her again and manage to set up a date (btw, a good line is "Hey, don't take this the wrong way, I dont wan't you to freak out again, but I want to see you again"). We finally meet up and every goes well and continues as it was.

See, how I worked it there? I only used text to set up a phonecall. Used a phone call for pleasant conversation and charming, but mostly to set up a meeting. I would never have gotten her to see me again only by texting her. There was way too much resistance (cause of her religion). I probably would have only reinforced her decision.

Right now, your girl has lost interest. There's most like another guy. The only thing you can do is NC. Let her wonder about you and contact YOU. Then implement this. Your only text reply to her should be "Hey, kinda busy now, I'll call you later". Then call her later. In the mean time, don't just sit around. Go out and meet some more girls! You'll come off as less desperate and needy with other girls in your life. Unless you're a really good actor and can manage without that. Nothing wrong with faking it til you make it, but it being genuine is always better.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
