Delta Male, t00dumb, and englishcrap got it right. Friends, you're on the right path! (But I don't have to tell you that, you know. ;))

Joe, first, awesome screen name. Funny as hell. I guess it's time to get philosophical.

I know so many people who fool themselves into thinking that the toys make the man. Friends, they don't. The women who judge men based on their possessions--those men are nothing more than an expensive accessory to them. They choose rich guys to impress their friends like they choose fine jewelry to impress their friends. It's fake!

Say you buy a fake diamond necklace. Even though it's just as beautiful as a real diamond necklace, why doesn't it mean as much to you? People who wear fake jewelry will often try to conceal that it's fake, even though it glitters just as beautiful as the real. Why? People who wear expensive jewelry hide behind it because they are insecure and need something to make themselves feel good about themselves. Their source of "happiness" comes from fooling themselves into thinking a dead rock makes them superior to others. A dead rock doesn't make you more important! A piece of cold steel won't love you! By showing off expensive items you are tiptoeing around the problem, which is your own insecurities. What other purpose is there for jewelry? None. It's symbolic. The fact is, all material objects are nothing more an extension of the human ego.

Likewise, most men are insecure so they'll buy these expensive items to try to impress women with. Friends, they're the real AFCs! A real DJ could get any women to fall in love with him despite of the way he looks! Anyone disagree? I mean, do you really want to surround yourself with people who only want to be around you because of what you possess? We all know that's the way our society is, but don't you want it to change? Don't you want someone to care for you despite of what car you drive or the clothes you wear? I tell you the truth, if you don't make the effort to change society, then how can you expect someone else to change it for you?

Say a man is rich, and he attracts a beautiful women who swears she loves only him. Later in life he loses everything, and eventually the women leaves him because she won't ever allow herself live under a bridge. Did she ever really love him? Doesn't love transcend personal wealth and all earthly conditions? I tell you the truth, love, my friends, is unconditional. Remember that. Don't fool yourselves into thinking that lust is love. I know society has skewed the meaning with phrases such as "make love" and "lovers," but there is nothing sexual about love. Those of you who have sex without love, you're simply masturbating with a human being.

What it all boils down to in the end, is that love is the real possession that each person on Earth seeks. We use material objects to attract people to get it, we work hard to please others to get it, we are always trying to get the approval of someone else in hope that someone might love us.

Oh those of you who obsess over the prettiest girl, devising ways to make her yours, your ego is so fragile! The only reason you want the prettiest girl is so you can show her off. You use the pretty girl to impress others, because you're shallow and heartless. Yet you wonder why the few people who surround you would abandon you if you were ever horribly burned in a car reck, and why you don't have any real friends who would literally die to protect you. Shallow attracts shallow! You hide away and cry for the problem, yet never make any attempt to fix it. Stop being shallow, then turning around and crying when someone treats you shallowly! Stop judging others, then turning around and crying when others judge you! Hippocrates!

What you all attribute to wealth representing the quality of the man: you're wrong!

Say a man has a junky car, but he works his butt off every day and treats people fairly and doesn't judge others. Say another man has a nice car, yet he is arrogant, lazy, and hateful. Who is the better man? So the pretty girl goes to the rich man. SO WHAT?! Let her go to him! I tell you the truth, shallow attracts shallow. Those of you who whine because the pretty girls goes to the rich man, you are the male counterpart of the pretty girl. You are no better. God only knows how many of you have blown your chance at real happiness because you've dismissed a girl because of the way she looks. No, instead you obsess over the prettiest girl, because you live your life to impress people who don't even care about you! No wonder so many people here feel so empty! No wonder so many people think about killing themselves! I would too if I was so heartless and cold, and I know because I used to be. You bring hell upon yourselves!

So yes Joe, what you've said is true, but there's more going on under the surface than just girls reacting to "the survival of the fittest." If one scratches even farther below the surface the whole facade of human society begins to show.

"Image is everything."

Woe to the person who lives by this! Images deceive!

I expect some hateful things to be thrown my way, and some people to make judgements about me. This is fine, I know I'm threatening the grand fantasy world that they've built. I expect people to hate me for the things I've said, because darkness hates the light because it reveals the evil which wishes to conceal itself. I know I've cut the Achilles heal of some, and they'll turn their self-inflicted misery into anger and project it onto me. I expect my whipping, but I'll take it because I know some of you will see truth in my words and you will begin to change your ways. God bless those of you who do! You will finally find that completeness that each of us seeks!

P. S. - I can't take credit for any of these teachings, as they all came from a guy named Jesus who saw the same things in people when he was alive.

Love is a pretty strong word to use. I never liked it much as it can be interpreted in many different ways.

Guys will say that they love sex. But what does it actually mean? Guys will tell a girl that he loves her when girl asks the guy whether he does or not. What does it actually mean again?

Unconditional love does not exist in my book. When I choose to love someone or something, I choose based on certain criteria. If any of those criteria would to change to the total opposite, undoubtedly I will cease to love. To compromise and say "I will love no matter what happens" would be to give in to everything else but myself. I am not about to give up my life that easily to anything else.

I have little love for anything. This is because things change so much through the course of one's life. Friends become enemies. Family members hurt family members. Partners cheat. All part of the world we live in. Which isn't really a bad thing. It's just the way it is. I've come to understand and accept the unpredictability.

I would say happiness is a more appropriate thing to be searching for. If some guys are happy flaunting their expensive cars and getting gold digger chicks (and they are smart enough to know what these girls are after), then they are living a worthwhile life. The wasted life is one which is totally devoid of happiness. One filled with constant sadness and depression.

Love can so easily be taken away by others. Happiness is something you look for, something that you should always be able to find.

Don't take any offense for anything I've mentioned. They are my own personal views. This is a friendly discussion anyway, right?

First off, you are wrong. He is NOT getting used for sex -- the girls who he bangs in the van, later become his loyal long-term girlfriends. His girls are extremely goal-oriented, and they're looking for stability. It's a common myth that in order to have a quality relationship, it has to be exclusive. That's just not true. Secondly, let's just suppose he was getting used for sex. Which would you rather be used for, sex or money? If I had to choose one, I would choose sex, because I've got only so much cash, but an unlimited supply of lovin' :D

Second, nobody in this thread seems to be hearing me. I guess actually attracting a girl instead of buying her attention is so far out of your reality that you don't even hear it. Let me say it one last time then:

IF YOU'RE NOT GETTING LAID IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF YOUR CAR.

IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU.
