As I was driving to work the other day I saw a big billboard ad with a picture of a beautiful model alongside an equally beautiful Maserati sports car. Under the picture was written:
"The car you drive is as important as the cloths you wear"
Clearly, the ad was aimed at men, most likely middle aged succe
ssful men, with the idea that you need an expensive sports car to convey success to attract beautiful women.
I think there is some validity to the idea. Even though a girl may be attracted to your body and personality, if you drive a crappy car, that is tantamount to dressing poorly thereby lowering your image with the opposite sex.
I also think that women in general subconsciously equate a man's success with the car he drives just as they form impressions based on the cloths and shoes you wear.
Any opinions?
