"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Is she even listening?

It seems as though everything I say is going right by her and she has no clue that I'm talking to her. I get blank stares and nods even when I say the simplest things, nothing to add to the conversation.

What exactly is she thinking, there is no way everything I've said had not got her thinking, that's impossible! Something, just anything. But no... I get just blank stares. Is she in love? Is she mesmerized? Is she just daydreaming?!

I don't get it, this doesn't make sense. I'm not Aristotle here, she has to say something! For three hours man, nothing but me talking trying my hardest to get a feedback from her. She just stares back as if I'm saying the most interesting thing in the world and not replying to anything!

She's looking through me for some reason, I feel it. She's looking me in the eyes but there is nothing there. But what exactly is she thinking?!
Whats going on?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Were you talking about yourself this whole time?
if you were getting nods and responses then you werent asking open ended questions.
You need to ask open ended questions to elicit some good conversations (questions that cant be answered with a yes or no, questions that require her opinion )

If I asked an open ended question, and she just nodded I would be pissed, but I highly doubt that's what happened.
IF it is, then I would next her and would have confronted her about it.

but in all honesty it sounds like you were just having a boring conversation, I can;t imagine sitting through a date and have her not saying a word or doing most of the talking

Kino?

You shouldn't be talking to her for 3 hours without making some physical connection. Unless you don't even like her like that.

Are you in a relationship? Third date? What?

Early on, she may not be able to keep up with you intellectually, may not have anything in common, etc
Basically man, if youre in a relationship and not boring as fvck- she has checked out. I've been there. The one that has checked out, that is. It's like a defense mechansim or something. Coem to think of it, ive been checked out on too. Haha. Whatever.

Not sure if I've been counting, probably a month into it, once a week. What do you mean checked out?

Your right, I wasn't asking opened ended question. Odd that she was though, just kept letting me talk and talk until I catches myself and ask her a question. Should I just stop talking, not sure if it gets to boring she just doesn't say anything. Everything she says is about me or what I do or what I think.
