"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

for the past week or so, i have stopped using shaving cream, and the shave is just as good, so obviously i'm done with shaving cream

but in the longterm, are there any problems with not using shaving cream?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'd have a hell of a time shaving without using shaving gel. Do you not have much facial hair? Do you shave with the grain?

I can shave with or without cream as well. However when I let it go and it gets really thick i need cream or gel. It also matters what type of blade you use.

It's like .88 cents at Walmart. It's like using lube when masturbating. It's not necessary, but it makes the experience alot smoother.:cheer:

Well, I don't know if my skin is sensative or not but It sucks for me to shave without the cream. I use Barbasol the reall mans shaving cream :D haha (90 cents). The cream makes the shave a lot easier. Also as a nice little tip, shave after you shower, because that will soften up your skin and make the hair on your face softer so when you shave it's not as rough. But I got that tip of askmen.com so to give credit because I dont wanna get flamed for plagerism hehe:).

I don't use it. I have to rinse and rinse though.. continuously with hot water, if not, I simply can't shave.

I also don't use conditioner.

At first, it feels uncomfortable, but then you realize it was just useless.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

By rinse and rinse you mean your face? If so yeah, the hot water softens the skin//beard makes it a lot smoother to shave! I used to shave before my showers but I found that out on askmen.com and it works like a charm for me. But I still use shaving cream i guess I have sensative skin... but its baby smooth :)

Once you hit puberty and start growing a real beard instead of whiskers, you'll realize how necessary shaving cream is.

FBA08 your name sounds like Johnny 5s' brother in circuitry, grow some balls and shave your facial and pubic hair with a machete

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Then there are people who, unlike me, treat every shaving experience like a piece of art or a smoking a fine cigar.

I like to equate shaving to painting your house. You could go to the hardware store and buy whatever paint is on sale and a $2.99 paintbrush, slap it on the walls and call it done. A professional painter would spend lots of time filling holes and cracks and smoothing imperfections, he will use only top quality brand-name paint that covers well and holds up for years, will apply it with, oddly enough, a premium quality Badger Hair Brush or Mohair Roller, and his result will be far superior and will easily justify his time and effort.

I agree... I've had an electric razor for a long time but whenever I do use a blade I find it necessary to use shaving cream (or at the very least, shampoo, as it doesn't get stuck in the blades...)

My neck is too sensitive for a normal blade - or even electric... maybe I should just grow a beard and be done with it. :p

depends
I generally prefer using an electric razor, Im blonde and i have a blonde beard tho, so thats not too common. If your skin is in contrast to your hair color (white guy with really dark beard) you might just want to do a quick re-shave at lunch if you last did it in the mornings, or before the club.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
