Let's see ... a maiden nursing student cavorting around with an alpha "caddish playboy - a wine and opera aficionado whose first marriage is said to have failed due to his penchant for younger women" gynecologist (and an "abortion pioneer" to boot! ) 40 years her senior :woo: :rockon: decides she she wants to have a family, so she marries a presumably good "greater beta" Catholic virgin man (i.e., Santorum.)

I wouldn't say she is the ultimate example but I think she's more of a branch swinger. As somebody already alluded, she simply went from a powerful man to another powerful man because when they first met, Santorum worked as a lawyer for a firm that was hiring summer interns and guess who was a law student and was applying for summer internships at law firms?
