What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Who cares how monkeys ****. A woman wants a man above her. If you meet solve her hypergamous question, and are a man she respects, admires, etc., she will not cheat on you. If you are a beta simp, she will cheat on you with an alpha. Men want many. Women want the best.
Op: I wouldn't compare women's sexual habits to gay men. Gay men are still biologically the same as heterosexual men. Gay men **** a lot with many different partners because that's men's sexual strategy (spread the seed).
The reason women started being more promiscuous is because hormonal birth control mostly eliminates the risk of pregnancy (such as with a non committal partner or a beta mistaken for an alpha). They also produce their own income, so they don't need to "settle down" and be monogamous for survival like they did in the past.
