"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

We all know that if a man is needy is repulses women, but these days I find myself seriously questioning whether it is possible for a man to need anything from a woman for even a few moments and not push her away.

It seems that women have become so selfish that they are confusing neediness with basic human needs. This may be what happens when they have 5 guys each so they just keep switching to the happiest one at the moment.

As a contractor who changes jobs a lot, I've found that women sense career changes the same way they sense rejection and success with other women. You can have 4 dates lined up, then find out your job is relocating you, and without saying a word to any of them they will all cancel. In other words, if you are dealing with any stress in your life, even if you are trying to keep it to yourself, they still sense it and instead of helping you with it they run. The opposite is also true, when you move to a new city with a great new job, women flock to you.

Do you think it was always this way and is it healthy for men to require 100% independence from women? Don't we eventually need them to be good wives, mothers and friends?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

We all have a certain amount of "leakage" where our stresses, fears, and insecurities leak out through our body language, facial expessions, voice tone, and every other way you can think of. Unfortunately, women pick up on this.
You can't stop it 100%. It's part of being human.

All we can do is try to tackle our stresses one at a time. But we can never get all of them resolved at once because new ones keep appearing. It's like that game where the gophers keep popping up and you keep hitting them back down with the rubber hammer.

Off topic, the "leakage" thing is also the reason why picking up UGs or "dumpster diving" doesn't work. Huge amounts of insecurity, desperation, and lack of GENUINE interest in the girl will leak out and she will get really turned off. (I know the OP doesn't do this. I'm just mentioning it for the purposes of discussion.)

In society today, it is the mans job to take care of everything. His problems, her problems, their problems together, etc. Show no emotion. Stay calm, cool and collected, NO MATTER WHAT. You're dad just died? Suck it up. It's your job to be there for them, not the other way around.

Yeah it's like it's okay for a woman to need or want a boyfriend for validation, to feel better about herself, complete her life, etc. But not okay for a man, it's like we men are not supposed to want companionship, c'mon, we men are humans too as in we have emotions, we have feelings, we are not robots, androids, cybords, etc.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
