"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Is my SMV going up or down?

SMV i think means, what sexual market value? It's used on the Roissy site a lot.

Anyway this is something i'm thinking about at the moment.

Bare facts are:

- 33

- working in finance

- money is just rolling in

- in decent shape but working really hard to get in great shape.

- tall, good looking and not going bald.

So of course things look positive right? But I'm getting older. That's inescapable. If I was a woman no matter how much I was working out, bringing in cash, improving my skills etc, my SMV would be going down. But I'm a guy so is it staying the same, going down or even going up?

I just don't know. Ideally the kind of girls I want to be dating/banging are mid twenties.

Sometimes lately I have been wondering whether it's time to cash in my chips. I don't WANT to do that. I like being single. I want to be a player. But I was at a bar yesterday watching some dudes in their late forties cracking onto these young girls. Whether it's brainwashing by society or what I couldn't help but immediately label these guys as 'sad' and 'pathetic'. In that moment I thought I want to get out of this here game before I turn into one of them.

Before I get criticised for this I know there are people on this forum in their late forties, fifties or even sixties and I enjoy reading their posts most of all and have nothing but respect for these guys. Maybe it's not that these bar dudes were older, just that they looked like ****. But yeah, maybe many of us don't want to be the old dude in the bar.

So i'm just thinking. For how long can I push this without looking ridiculous or seeing ever diminishing results?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Sounds like you might be solid on the 'bare facts', but you gotta get deeper to truly figure your SMV/attractiveness.

How are you socially? Lots of friends? Easy for you to make friends? Female friends?

How do most women who do not know you seem to interact with you? What about men?

Are you truly comfortable with yourself? Do you think you come off as confident?

In a bar full of 40-50 year olds, you might be fresh meat. In a bar full of hottie 22 year olds, you might be the old man. Relativity is more than a theory yah?

I personally base SMV off of your age, social class and social circle. Who are the high value men there and where are you in relation to them?
