I could be reading too much into this, but I have a feeling she might be.

So I went to my flatmate's room to ask for something. Her friend was lying on her bed with her legs up, showing her bum.

Now I'd think she'd feel a bit uneasy or something, but she didn't move.

Whenever we made eye contact, I made sure I held it, and I tried in every way to make her see that I was checking her arse out... and she didn't move and kept looking at me smiling...

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

High probability there's wishful thinking on your part and it means nothing. You're reading too much into it.
