The fair will be in my area next month, and was thinking about going. When going in the past it wasn't to bad. Made some single serving friends, and talked to a couple cute girls. It helped a lot when I was horrible with approaches, and still felt awkward around girls. Not a DJ yet, but am more collected and confident around girls now.

Before going in the past I went thinking just about the fair, and thought about the girls as just a bonus. But now when thinking about going the only thing that seems enticing is the girls. But am not sure if it'd be worth going for just that reason.

It always seems that if you go out of your way like that especially with girls, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Most of the girls there will probably be with boyfriends or groups that are too large to approach anyway. Then if I did meet an approachable girl that seemed interested, I probably wouldn't ask them out unless they seemed really great. I try to be careful of the girls I ask out, and like to have some idea of how they act before making a move. It just seems that hanging with a random girl like that might be fun, but not enough to go by.

Just wondering what everyones thoughts were about it. Is it worth going to the fair just to try approaching girls?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

If all else fails you can always approach The Bearded Lady:crackup:

I have a simple rule for meeting women: Always approach when the opportunity presents but don't go out approaching for the sake of approaching, let it happen naturally.

Fairs are for entertainment and having fun with friends or a girl you bring along. I wouldn't buy a ticket cruising for chicks when they will be with someone else. Just go and have fun with friends. If there is a opportunity to meet a chick......approach. Don't just go for the sake of approaching too many guys fail with approaches because they put too much pressure to get numbers. Go and have fun. let it happen naturally if you see a hot chick at the right moment....approach. Don't be the creepy walking up to women with her friend just for the sake of approaching.

If the fair is not far out of the way and free or only a few bucks sure it's worth it.
