"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Or do you find yourself spending time, lots of unwarranted time, with women you don't even really like?\
I didn't say ugly women,b ut women that, when you sit down and think about it... you don't even really LIKE. Not like to have sex with.. but like to be around? Or talk to?

I caught myself aruging with this one girl a couple of nights ago that I have been sleeping with on and off for the last 2 or so months.. and I remember "stepping back" from the situtation and thinking "dude, I don't even LIKE you, why am I getting mad?"

I guess it's just something to do. It's hard to find a girl I really LIKE.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I know exactly what you are talking about. If a girl has a great body, your **** sometimes overrides your dislike for her personality. And sometimes its almost nonsexual, chasing the girl just becomes intellectual sport.

in the words of Jay-Z "man it's just a game I just play it to play it"

I feel like that sometimes.. hell all the time. I just talk to women for the sake of talking to women, like I am supposed to want to, but truth be told, I am to the point now where pretty much any woman holds me back from what I really want to be doing, rather it be reading (something I have gotten more and more into over the last 6 months) horse racing or anything that I set out to do. I would, at times, much rather read a good book than to be bothered by a woman... at times, now granted there are times when I could use companionship, for instance my birthday is Saturday and I will be damned if I spend it alone, but hell last saturday night I went to the club, not becuase I wanted to, but because I felt I had to.. I got there, had a drink, left, came home and finished a book I was reading and went to sleep happy as could be.

Women, at least the ones I know, complicate my life. Alot of the stuff I like or want to talk about, they no nothing about, most have no ambition, nothing worth talking about of importance in their life, and most, even the ones older than me are somewhat childish, until they get in their 30's but by then most aren't on my level looks wise.

My ex, who isn't dumb but isnt' the smartest girl in the world, I liked being around her because she could honestly make me laugh, and she liked being a woman, she liked cleaning, liked to cook for me, and liked and respected the fact that I had to have my "me" time alone.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Hey backbreaker, when you said

well, I think you missed something. And that something is how women work. I bet you know how to get any women to be with you, to get them into your bed, yadda yadda. I'm not sayin' that. You could be the best 'Don Juan' here, for all I know.

But why don't women like to talk about ambitions? Well, do ambitions make them look more beautiful? Does it make them look sexier? NO.

So why should they care? Women make much more 'genital based decisions' then men will ever make. It's how they are.

While men have goals and ambitions, and passions. Her goals are marrying the guy with ambitions and passions. If it dosen't serve to make them more attractive in the long run or if it dosen't make the situation more sexually tense, then she won't care. (No, not all women are the same.) This is how most younger girls work. They look through the world with their genitals. Metaphorically of course.

When they get older, their hormone levels decrease. This makes them think less with their genitals and more with their mind. As they act out their biological nature. But then, they aren't as attractive. Accept it, or live in a world of frustration. And it helps if you aren't so serious about all this stuff. Women? Who cares?

Another thing, you aren't stuck into being this 'master attracter' you don't need to talk to every girl you see. It is not your duty. You may want to take some time out of this whole 'seduction life' and try being yourself again, with your new confidence or whatever you gained here. Live life first, women come second. Look, whatever the community or this board has crafted as 'the perfect life' or the standard of 'success with women' don't buy into it. You can only determine your perfect life and your success with women. If you're where you want to be, then you made it. You don't need anybody else telling you to do more sh!t, or to be this or that. You get enough of that don't you?

I can relate to what you're saying.

I've been with a few girls who were into the same things as me. It felt great. I had found someone to bed and to share interests with. lover and friend. But then, guess what, it becomes all too apparent that they really weren't interested in anything other than trying to emotionally manipulate me. and what better way to do that then to trick me into thinking they share my passion.

Most women just don't have hobbies or interests of their own. Their interest is drama: their own and everyone elses.

A woman is your friend or your lover, never both. Good conversation, atleast about what interests you, is territory for your guy friends. Women don't want to talk about things like that. They'll humor you a little at first, like i was saying, but it won't last.

The way you described your ex, that traditional type of woman, sounds good to me, but did she really want to hear about your interests?

And what are you reading these days?

I didn't say they didn't have any goals or ambitions, I said they weren't WORTH talking about, or for me to take seriously. One girl seriously told me her "goal" was to be treated like "a princess" for the reset of her life...

As far as my ex, she loved to her about what I wanted to do in life... she told me that is what attracted her to me, although I was cute, I was actually wanted to be/was something and I had drive and ambition. She wanted to be a model and she took it seriously. She did side gigs, and always did research on modeling, stayed in shape, whatch what she ate, etc. Guys I am not asking for the world, just a small peice of land.

Anyway the reason we are not together is twofold. First, while I was with her, I got lazy and put on wayy too much weight. I am 169lbs now, I was 217 about 13 months ago. The sex drive, hers of course, went' down and I got fustrated. Even though she had goals, she really didnt' have the DRIVE to reach thoose goals. That and she couldnt' live with the fact I didn't belive in god, it just wasn't going to work.

What am I reading now? Guns, Germs and Steel. I should be finished by Friday. Before that I read Ometra. I like all kinds of books. I have to go by Barnes and Noble to pick up something else to read by Friday. I have read probably 30 something books, give or take since January. I don't even really know what comes on TV anymore.

Alright backbreaker, I didn't mean to jump the gun last night when I posted 3:00am in the morning.

So, allow me to clear up what a sober me wants to say.

Sure women have goals. Even if they are being treated like a princess for the rest of her life. :) (Where did you find that one?)

And communicating your ambitions can actually be something that women find attractive, if done right. (I think sleep deprivation and evolution theory finally got to my head last night.)

But I'm serious about laying off the DJ lifestyle for a bit. I know exactly what your talking about when you say

I just talk to women for the sake of talking to women, like I am supposed to want to, but truth be told, I am to the point now where pretty much any woman holds me back from what I really want to be doing, rather it be reading (something I have gotten more and more into over the last 6 months) horse racing or anything that I set out to do.
This stuff can make you go crazy, and the best remedy often is, to give it a little break. Now, you don't have to, but it's helped me get past that little sticking point.

Hope it helps. :)

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
