"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

i added some stuff in my previous post to clarify.

but basically, as i said, you may genuinely like stuff that will scuttle you with chicks and you may genuinely DISLIKE things that would help you.

for me, the example of the second is building a strong muscular body, dressing well and caring about what go on my feet.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

the point of being a DJ is to become so passionate in life that ANYTHING you are interested in is attractive.

If you want to change your life around and not persue things you enjoy for fear of them being "unattractive", you may as well become a routine spitting social robot.

I'm leaving for Asia tomorrow for a two week missionary trip. Traveling is so much fun!

i hate missionaries. i think every church on earth has missionaries in eastern ukraine at the moment. you can't take a walk in one of the local parks without running into one. zdrastvooooootyeh! they always hang on the ooooo for a good 2 seconds. maybe i am just pissed because they actually think i am one of the locals.

the peace corps is another annoying group.

wrong.

THE TRUTH: some hobbies and interests attract women. other interests REPEL them.

if you're passionate about star trek, that will never make you attractive to women who grow hair in the proper places and are under two bills.

and if you're NOT into working out, wearing nice clothes, being well groomed or smelling nice then you're sunk.

IT MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED that MANY THINGS that men gravitate to are ESSENTIALLY ALIENATING TO WOMEN. and if you deny this, you are sunk.

no degree of passion will make your devotion or LARP (live action role playing) or dungeons and dragons or stamp collecting or porn seem like an attractive thing for women.

on the other hand, if you like traveling, know a lot of cool places to go, like cool and expensive cars and are really into your wine, that stuff will help you.

you guys are saying that there is no such thing as an unattractive passion vs. an attractive passion so don't freakin' worry about it... "follow your heart".

haha - watch the forty year old virgin. everything in his apartment is the product of the passions of his heart. see where it gets him.

I had to get a new passport last week, cause I had used up all the pages on my old one. Man, browsing through and looking at the different immigration stamps brings back good memories (visaruns from Thailand to Cambodia was absolutly teh best). I highly suggest that you take some time, between a month to a year, and just travel around the world.

Don't do it to impress some b!tch, do it for yourself.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I agree, some male hobbies do not interest girls at all.

That is why I wouldnt talk to them about those particular hobbies. I save those for my guy friends (girls couldnt have a good conversation bout those topics anyways, so why waste my time)

And also, some female hobbies do not interest guys, but would you next an HB9 just because she liked something that u didnt? No, you'd likely either feign interest because you were interested in her (which is what a lot of guys would do) or change the subject until u found a common ground, or something you guys were both interested in (which is what *I* would do)

Changing your hobbies just so they'll be "attractive" to girls is reactive.

Even the most AFC guy can find a topic that interests both him and girls.

I can't fathom not considering a hobby because doesn't attract women. What's the purpose of a hobby, your benefit or theirs? Usually problems arise when guys put more effort into their hobbies than their relationships. But if you choose to sarge women who are more interested in what you do than who you are, that's another thing altogether.

What is wrong with such hobbies as collecting action figures or watching anime? If it interests you, why should it matter what others think of it? Sure, I'll admit, there are some things that repel even me; e.g. LARPing, Collectible Card Games, etc. But, there are some things that can be shared with everyone, like video games, because they're mainstream. As long as you have something mainstream as a hobby, it could possibly balance out your less mainstream hobbies.

I want to know how some of you mid to early 20 somethings had the money to travel around the world!!!

I'm a senior in Highschool and I'm at the point now where I want to get out and explore and see everything I can. Road Trip across america, Travel around the world, Everything! I'm reading " On The Road" by Jack Kerouack. And my english teacher comes up to me and goes "I'm happy your reading this book. So many kids in this town get a job and settle down here. Never going out and experiencing everything.. What I like aboutt his book is the whole point. It's basically telling you to get the Fuk out of dodge!" Yes quote on quote lol.

I have a goal of bartending on the coast of florida on the beach somewhere for a few years. Passing out some margaritas. listening to Jimmy Buffett, Sharing stories with whoever is there. and Meeting some new girls in a new area! How great does that sound?!! I tell my friends my goals and they laugh and tell me how lame that sounds or how it wont happen. Not my fault there narrow minded. They can stay in illinois and live their life in this ****. Not me.

That's what compells me to travel. Out of Illinois out of the midwest. Being somewhere new, experiencing something new. Meeting new people, Adventure. Starting fresh with people sounds so intriging to me. Having something interesting to talk about with a girl. Not "well I live In Illinois all my life". I really believe seeing everything and traveling will help me in alot of areas.

Just the idea of meeting new girls, people, new atmosphere.

Read my quote on "taking a chance and 20 years". Yeah, I relate it to women alot. But also about getting out and experiencing new things. In 20 years I don't want to ask "where did my time go and why didnt I do something exciting"

I'm going to be saying "That was one hell of a time and I'm glad I did it!!!"
