Is it all worth it?

Did anyone ever stop to think whether all the stuff we go through as men to get women is worth it?

I mean what do we really get for all this effort? SEX, and..........?????

Most women will burn a hole in your pocket book. They tend to put a damper on your social life after a while, and they can become real nags.

So what's the interest? Well, we all know that if you can truly find that one gem of a woman, she can enhance your life and add happiness to it. There's a sense of stability one gets when they're in a long term relationship, and it's even been proven that married men live longer.

BUT.....

What are the chances we'll ever find the ONE? I'm not saying we should stop trying, but for a lot of men, the reality of the situation is that they'll end up wasting a lot of time and money on women they won't even remember in a year.

I don't know, I guess maybe I'm a little disillusioned..........

Unfortunately it's the nature of the beast, and it's easy to become disillusioned when you're not coming up with many results.

Harsh as it may be it's either evolve or die, and in today's world I believe you need at least a basic grasp of these 'skills' simply to compete, let alone gain an advantage.

You also need to take the rough with the smooth, and ride out the sh!tter moments to get to the times when you're on top of your game.
I agree with you, and I can adapt, but I'm not sure if the prize is worth the effort anymore. I do want to find that special lady, but often times you find that when you're not looking for it.

I'm not giving up, far from it, but I think I'll be a bit more discerning in my pursuits.

Well, at least we can say we lived and didn't sit on our couches all day watching TV while the world went on...

That's a really stupid analogy. I never said you shouldn't try, I'm going to keep trying, but I asked is it worth it? Being "alive" entails so much more than getting women. I want to live, and I want to do well with women, but sometimes you see these poor saps getting taken for a ride, and you wonder if that'll be you someday. But alas, who cares? We take our chances.

Some of you are talking about all the other benefits you're getting from this process, and I think that's great. My question was is the "prize" worth the effort as it applies to being a DJ?

To some it might be, and to me it might be also, but I'm still not convinced.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

To me, this isn't just about "getting women" it's about becoming the type of Man that I aspire to be.

I'm focused on the big picture, and getting women is just one of the benifits.

Too many guys here are focused on superficial things like tactics and technics and canned routines and peacocking and other stuff that will actually stunt your personal growth.

That's not what being a DJ is about.

There are no shortcuts. Tricks and tactics and canned routines may get your foot in the door, but after that, when the HB sees that underneath it all is just a poser AFC, then the jig is up.

Everyone wants the quick fix, the next big thing, the next guru who will fix them and solve all their problems. Gives them the key that unlocks all the doors.

BS!

Only one person will do that for you.
