"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Is it a "test" when she asks about your "gf"?

Okay, I figured I'd make a separate thread to ask this question.

So there's this girl where I work and according to what this site teaches, she's treated me as her "emotional tampon."

That's cool because I have no choice at work anyway.

She's flirted with me too and on one occasion told me I was "fairly good looking." I guess some girls think that because they have a boyfriend it's okay to call other guys attractive..?

For the most part I assumed she likes me because of the way she'd just talk to me nonstop and strut her self to me every now and then.

I don't find her attractive though, at all, so I just brush it off and try to ignore her. And she has a boyfriend, which is no-no territory for me...I don't do that sort of thing.

I was just wondering though about this one thing she does, in case a girl who I may care about later does it to me as well...

She occasionally asks, "if you had a gf, would you do xyz?" And then she likes to add, "yeah, I know it's really hypothetical, but if you had a gf, what would you do if...?"

And stuff like that. She always wants my input/approval on tons of things.

I'm just wondering if that's some sort of a 'test' as you guys would call it. And if so, what should be a good response to that?

My apologies if this has been discussed before (I didn't know exactly how to search for such a topic).

Thanks in advance.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

"if you had a gf, would you do xyz?"

I would say any one of these three...

'what do you mean, i already did xyz'.
'that depends, is xyz bi?'.
'why, do you want to see if you have a shot?'

in other words, don't answer hypothetical questions directly. If she's asking for 'real' advice, then give her your two cents, beyond that...have some fun with her questions. Girls know the real answers to these types of questions, she just wants to see how YOU will respond.

Or,

She might like you for some odd reason, and she's trying to cheat and see what you would do to her in certain situations before she does anything. The bytch.
