yeah one concern is she's a bit flirty with everyone , although people have noticed she's taken special attention to me. Should I consider her to be a " attention ***** ".
That's actually a problem. The thing is, work is the perfect place for an attention whoare because they can bat their eyelids at men all day long but if a man makes a move she can go to HR. You can't be as direct as you might like to be and this gives women room to play games.
I think the best way to play it is to not make any moves at work, beyond inviting her out for a drink. If she comes out with you (and comes alone) then you can make a move. But if she's giving you anything less than full cooperation (excuses, playing stupid, etc), then you have to write her off as an attention whoare and stop giving her attention.
